Kintaro was hitting his father Momotaro from behind and inviting him to play with him.
Momotaro spent a lot of time with him, and visitors could hear the gorillas' voices through the glass.

Momotaro & Genki Family
Father Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
Mother Genki ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
First son Gentaro, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son Kintaro ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro is
makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

This is the same way Momo used to play with Gentaro when he was about the same age. Nice to see son and dad relaxed, bonding, and just enjoying each other. 😙😙😙😙😙

I watched it several times. That was the first time I hear them laughing so loudly.😊🥰🤗Kin cchan invited dad to play and that's the most adorable thing.
Luckily they were playing near the glass window. So I was able to hear that.
It's lovely seeing them play. Unfortunately there's a lot of misconceptions of the relations between the members of this troop. However, I see Momotaro being a good dad to both his sons and a good husband to Genki 🦍💞🇸🇪

Well said! Momotaro didn't have the advantage of growing up with and interacting with his own dad. Being self-taught, he has done remarkably well!

Not all the time Genki runs to grab Kintaro because the Dad is so big and strong he can hurt him so easily
Kintaro seems to enjoy himself playing with his dad:and momoto is so.large that he has to practically lay down to reach kintaro.
