Biggest coaching flaw in Taylor Jenkins is not making players take shots that they are good at. Ja, Jaren, Smart are not good at 3 pt shooting, shouldn't they take 2 or 3 shots only per game unless they are in rhythm from 1st shot. Similarly, Bane is always driving down the lane and trying layups, he misses half and gets blocked at other times. Jaren seemed to have learned to pass the ball late last season but now seems to dribble into the crowd and forgets to pass it back. Championship caliber team are consistent, play to their strengths. OKC/Cavs is just playing repeatable, consistent basketball and players don't leave their discipline
I'd say they're a good reg season team, but not elite. Grizzlies have beaten mostly bad teams and haven't beaten a healthy contending team yet. Elite teams don't fall apart like they did vs. Dallas and not execute in the pressure moments. This is the same story just another year with this team under Jenkins.
