Hey I appreciate you teaching me how to cook hot wings in the power XL just here recently my wife passed away I'm going on 64 years old and my wife did all the cooking now I'm starting to learn how to cook and sometimes it's really frustrating for me especially being so old trying to get everything rolling but thank you for showing me how to do something simple that I had nothing I did not know how to cook in the first time but thank you I hope you keep up the videos so I can keep watching them and learn I appreciate you doing this for people like me no Cooks thank you
The number one thing I tell new gardeners and new cooks is “be patient with yourself”. You won’t get it right every time, but you will get better and better every time if you learn from what you did. I’m glad you’re getting something from the videos. I’m certain your wife is enjoying watching you from heaven and appreciating all the cooking she did for ya.
I was touched seeing your comment... God Bless you sir... I also lost my husband and my son so I know it's tough going at times... I hope you do well... people do care...
I am very sorry about your loss, ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤my dad died a couple months ago, we talk about after the funeral , that he knew how to make hard boiled eggs, 😂😂😂 and coffee, he was so afraid of the kitchen, it was kind of funny, So we know is hard, hope your adventures in the kitchen will be fun.
I loved using my Power Xl for air-fryed chicken wings, the best. Unfortunately, up until a week ago, it suddenly stopped heating. I've only had it for 16 months and don't know why it stopped heating. The fan works and the digital display also, but since the manufacturer only gives you a 1 year warranty, my only choice is to throw it away. Will not be buying another one. Thanks for sharing your review. Enjoy it and do share how long yours last please 🙏
Suggestions: Be careful about using those metal tongs (or any metal) on or close to the Teflon coating on this unit's grill plate, bowl, etc. Also, I noticed you washed the grill plate with a hard green scrub pad. Careful! You definitely do not want to scratch the surfaces.
I cooked a whole chicken in mine but never thought of taking the spine off of it first, I so learned something new and will be using this method from now on. I also cut the pieces so much easier. I'm definitely a subscriber to your channel. Also never thought of cutting the wings as u did seem to me alot more easier than pulling the pieces apart after cooked. Can't wait to learn more from you. I absolutely love my PowerXL, have to get my mom to loving it now she old school don't like to use anything new like this lol, she has ate food cooked in it and loved it so now to teach her how to cook in it herself lol. Thank you for teaching me some new things😊
What perfect illustrated video, just what I need to get started with my air fryer! I like seeing the heat coming from the chicken and how you removed the chicken back, I've never done that before. This video gets a 10 and I'm a hard critic.
Moved into a new house and have limited experience as a cook so these walk thru episodes really help to see the actual process and end result. Thank you sir. 😊
Thank you for your video... I have been using another air-fryer that only goes to 400 Degrees and was wanting a crispier result, so I found your video here. I just want to tell you my own way of doing the chicken wings. I marinate mine in a half roasted sesame oil and half Maggi seasoning mix. I let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours, but have also done it just coated if I am in a hurry. I am just addicted to wings with this seasoning. I appreciate seeing what you have been able to do with this air-fryer grill.
What a great review! Saw it at Walmart and saw it was made by Tristar. I had two tristar products and both broke and Tristar customer service is the pits!!! Didn't buy it and got the Cosori Aeroblaze Grill next to it (they look alike) and I really like it. Glad to see that it works well for you. Happy Cookin!
Thanks I have another type of a Power XL, and I was in the market for a new one. And I think I am going with this one since it can do other stuff. But I was worried about the crispiness. Your chunking (lol) made me know I would not have to worry about that. Thank you.
Made some of these for Mr. Cast Iron. Hope he will like them after working a long hard day. Serving with celery & blue cheese dressing. Thanks for the great video!
how do U clean it ? the same way as an electric fry-pan ? (basically just wipe the cooking surface with a soapy dish cloth / or VERY carefully wash it manually without getting the electrical socket wet) . PS this info' may be covered in the video , i didn't watch it all sry , was busy !
Ok I am going to buy one right now!! You convinced me 😛 now what about steaks? I love steaks. I am a follower so I can see if you put a video with 8 oz steak or 12. Thanks again👍
I have this appliance for years now and it never let me roast with the air fryer lid, I have to use the glass lid. When I try with the air fryer lid like it shows in your video keep showing the "Lid" word to change the lid. 🤔
The wings look fantastic!!! We would love to see your recipe for the sauce you used on your wings. I could practically taste the wings through the TV. We have the Power Pressure Cooker XL and use it a lot!
I bought this and the Similar and slightly more expensive Ninja Air Fryer Grill, I cooked 10 different items in both to compare, the Ninja blows the POWER Xl away, it seems to be much more solid and well made, the reviews online overall are much better, and many reports of a lot of Power XL's going bad in a short time.
Husband bought me this PowerXL a year ago and I’ve used it on the regular. Only been using it for Air Frying though because that is all I wanted. Husband saw all the options and it was on sale at Costco. This week I’m going to start using all the other options. Maybe because it doesn’t last long is because all the options used? Now I’ll find out if this will last much longer that I’ll use other options now. I wonder too how many fakes are made too. Anything can be a fraud and that’s a shame cuz the money the customer pays

Good product review. I have the Power XL smokeless indoor grill, for about a year or so. I really like it. First time seeing this product. This has potential. Great looking wings and whole chicken. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇺🇸.

Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!
