3:48 is actually kind of true, they named the land with warm weather Iceland to ward off raiders and the freezing wasteland Greenland to encourage raids there where the raiders wouldn't survive.

Greenland (or at least its south) was green until the mid-1500s. There were still Viking settlers living (and farming) there at that time, but the climate changed dramatically and most settlements were given up.
Iceland, on the other hand, isn't just called Iceland in all languages. That's the English version.
The first part of the name is ''Is-'' in Icelandic, and that has two meanings in Germanic languages (Icelandic is a Northern Germanic language, like Danish, Norwegian and Swedish).
The word ''is'' can mean ''ice'', but also ''iron'' - and in case of Iceland, the name derives from the latter.
During the Middle Ages, when other Europeans first heard about Iceland, it was rumoured to be a magnetic island (and this idea was actually used to ward off intruders).
For example, in the German national epic ''Nibelungenlied'' the king and his fellows have to travel to Iceland to pick up his future queen (who is a renegade valkyrie and had been imprisoned there behind a wall of fire) and everyone is really concerned about getting close to Iceland.
People thought, the magnetism would pull the nails out of the ship and they'd sink in front of the coast. Weapons made of steel would be useless and they wouldn't even be able to construct a new ship, because tools would be magnetised as well and just cling to the rocks.

Iceland horses are a breed of horse, that has not been influenced by foreign blood for more than a thousand years. Icelanders still keep all foreign horses out, and even horses that were born in Iceland and left the island, are banned from ever returning.
