I am Spanish and if I have to think of a country that I like and that is similar to mine, it is Italy. We are Mediterranean countries, our language comes from Latin. The Roman Empire united both countries. Apart from this, the character of the people and the way of understanding is very similar. I recommend visiting both countries in Italy the Amalfi coast and in Spain Majorca and Andalusia 😊

I had the opposite experience. I've been to Spain and Italy, among many other countries, and though I liked both countries, their people were not great, just acceptable. Not very social or helpful, definitely more cold and reserved, in our experiences. Which really surprised us. Maybe they just hate non-Iberians, or something else.
@@iliak4063 Please, No! We love Iberians. Some Italians have been caught in sad situations regarding foreigners, going all the way back to both World Wars making them suspicious of strangers. The many stories are staggering and sometimes people don't forget or they pass on their biases to their children and to their children. Once they get to know you, then you will feel the love! Also, Italians are very provincial amongst each other. The Northerners look down their noses at Southern Italians for some reason and Southern Italians acuse the Northern ones to be stuck up and not true Italians. So it's a lot to absorb and a bit complicated, but most Italians are warm and wonderful. I'm sorry for your unpleasant experience in Italy.

As an Italian, I'll go for an unpopular one, Portugal, I've just been there and found many attractive people, and very kind as well. Russia, Japan, South Korea, Greece, Latinos, Thai people, Filipinos etc.. are also good options when it comes to beauty.
Columbia & Venezuela are up there too for me. I find women attractive from all over the world.
Finally an Italian says the Portuguese! I share the sentiment from the other side, I also think that the Italian are the most beautiful, along with the Spanish.

Italy is so cultural mixed and in touch with so many foreigner countries, that italians can randomly appreciate every kind of beauty, from Asia to South America, from Blonde, to Mid-Eastern, to Blacks. The real fact it's that is not possibile to give an average answer, while obviously italian people know better their north european and mediterranean neighbours.

@@simonedylan6581 I barely believe that someone could do a research like that with good results, but it doesn't need to do it to claim that about north european and slavic beauties (one of my preferred ones is dark blonde people, LOL). That's a cultural fact due to the blonde factor (blondes are a minority in the world) and to the tallness factor, which make them so famous as models. But there's is still the question of charme, which is something about the presence itself and not just the objective level of beauty, even if when we talk about something like beauty there are some standard tastes that doesn't help the real appreciation of person are like. That's way I don't think some preferences are still hard to find out: because there is people who look for something different to their background and somebody else who wants just similar folks, and indeed that's why the italian mix ground can't give a singular definitive answer IMHO. But OK, yes, tall blondies are iconic for italian as well, even if in Italy there are girls of every kind, but in average less tall and not so platinum blonde.

it is true, the northern Italians are quite different from the southern Italians - they do of coarse both speak Italian, but in north Italy they are a bit more uptight, less friendly and snobbish, the opposite in South Italy - the northern italians are a bit more like the French

I'm Spanish and I think the most physically attractive people, men and women, are Scandinavians, Slavs and some African American. However, the most attractive men to me are the Portuguese, even though they are a tad too calm and serious, and some (classical) French, Italian men are attractive and charming but they care too much about looking impecable at ALL times. I prefer more natural guys. Many Spanish men have exactly the same problem.
Serbians and men from the area of the former Yugoslavia, Israelis and some Iranians are also very attractive physically but I think our cultures, behaviour, attitude are too different.
