I studied under Chuck Missler for decades. He was the best bible teacher I know of. I've used many of the things he taught in witnessing to people.
Witnessing to people from the teachings of a mortal man rather than the teachings of Jesus Christ who is our perfect example. BTW, read and contemplate Gospel of John 3:11 to understand what witnessing actually is my brother. Peace be with you in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
I have a background that's different than most Christians I've met. I'm educated in Greek/Hebrew exegesis,and biblical hermeneutics. I've been doing apologetics for over 15 years online, and have had many discussions and debates with Christians,Mormons/JW's,Catholics, Universalist, evolutionary atheist, and others. If you're familiar with Missler's teachings, you'd know that he taught apologetics,biblical evidence,that proved the bible is not like any other so called sacred writing. His specialty was also prophecy/eschatology, which is something that I've always been interested in. Missler was very detailed and technically minded,probably due to having a scientific background in engineering. So,I do have many years of studying apologetics,as well as historical doctrinal theology. Generally things that would be considered intellectual Christianity. Using this information is good for "giving every man an answer" ,in defense of the faith. In short,it's apologetics, but not witnessing.
Being a witness is a legal term,used in court. It has to do with having an experience. Without an experience,you're not allowed to testify as a witness.
I said my background is unlike most. And that's because my church background is Pentecostal/Charsimatic. And we aren't know for being educated in "intellectual" theology.But rather,we're sterotyped into being emotional,illogical, embracing myths and unsound doctrine,being obsessed with the Holy Spirit experiences,speaking in tongues,etc..That is true to a degree in my lifelong experience. So I also have experiences in receiving and on occasion, giving prophetic words ,having visions, I've been healed,seen miracles and healings,demons cast out etc..In the Christian groups I participated in,almost none of them had any experiences in the things I've mentioned.
And honestly,I only encountered a few other Pentecostals in the thousands of Christians in these groups.
Why am I saying all this? Because I know where you're coming from. We are called to be witnesses for Jesus. That means you have to be able to testify to what you've experienced of Jesus.NOT what you've studied and read about in books "about" Jesus. My testimony is not just "I believe in Jesus because of what's written in this book (the Bible),or the things I've studied about Jesus in other books written about Him. And this book,the bible,changed my life,etc. Unbelievers would say "so what".Lots of people claim some book changed their lives,for the better? Now your left with spending alot of time doing apologetics that prove the bible is not like any other so called sacred writing. And I can do that very well.
But that's not being a witness. My testimony is I believe in Jesus because of my many experiences. I know Jesus from my experiences,and I know Jesus from the things I've read and studied in the bible. The most profound experience is one that only Christians can understand. And it's the Spirit,bearing witness with my spirit,that I am God's child, He's my father, as I'm reassured that nothing can separate me from His love.
This is what I try to teach Christians,and this is what I tell unbelievers thats available to them, if they're willing to believe in Jesus.

That doesn’t sound to me like a cruel God… The Bible has all the answers you need, I urge you to just look at it, it has over 65,000 cross references just within itself. It was written over 1500 years, over 3 continents and 3 languages, by 40 different God inspired authors, and yet it contains no contradictions. It has not been changed over the years as was proven with the thousands of found manuscripts, some even dating to 100 AD. But also look at the teachings of Jesus, where does he say that he wants you to sacrifice children? In fact the Bible says that child sacrifice is demonic, and those who sacrifice their child are worshiping Molech, a demon. Jesus Christ loves you, and he died on a cross for you, give him a chance and he will transform your life. It’s not always easy to follow God, and to give up your fleshly desires of money, sex, swearing, and any other type of sin, but the fulfillment and the purpose makes it so worth it. That is why the corrupted bible versions won't work. Many words, verses, letters are taken out/ omitted from the so called new translation versions. There is a reason why God said not to add or take away from the bible, because your name will be taken out of the book of life and other consequences will happen.

The Bible stories are poetic allegories for aspects of human consciousness, patterns of human behaviour, social, political and economic forces and forces of nature. As someone becoming more interested in indo European paganism, there’s no scripture in my religion. The myth serves a different role to the abrahamic religions. Unlike the bible, they don’t give instructions or commands on how to live your life but act as a means to understand the world at an archetypal level.
I’d propose the following: An experiment to see if the Bible code exists in Greek, Latin and English translation of both old and New Testaments. It would be interesting to see if it would work in other translations, having an interest in the Fortean.
God is LITERAL and METAPHOR. Leave those false gods for their lake of fire. There is one way to the Father, through the Son, Jesus Christ. God in the image of sinful flesh, who died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day. So God being literal and metaphor, as a day is a thousand years in heaven, he rises on the 3rd day, 3,000 years after his death, to reign for 1,000 years before the new heaven and new earth.

I think he’s actually analyzing the 1769 KJB… the prophecy for that version is on his channel: Truth is Christ “Psalm 44:4” check it out!

A while back I had discovered some books and writings of Ms. Bonnie Gaunt; who was very prolific regarding bible codes. Her findings/writing did show that the numbers and symbols in the bible are not random. Are you familiar with her?

@@davidmillward3108 I sort of looked into this in the past. As we all know, the Bible was/is really one complete book---no chapters. Just continuous words...either classical Hebrew or Greek (New Testament). When I referenced Ms. Gaunt, (who was pretty well known at looking for codes), all I could really come away with (in the theory of hidden message) was the God's intentions in transmitting His love/wishes/warnings, etc. was that He is not a god of confusion and that the message was as simple as this: Jesus is Lord.
