According to the girls this man is a Nightmare Hunter who hunts them. In Chase me he just starting the investigation. In Good night he managed to catch 2 of them ( they are nightmare/ghosts) and lock them in a book. The rest of the girls are going to release them from the book. At the end of the mv this man is lock in the mirror. Their last comeback with Fly High is the beginning of the whole story. In this mv we learn how the girls were turned into nightmares / ghosts. Besides that, the whole story has an open ending. Sorry for my English. Hi from Poland.
As Lanniczek say he is Nightmare Hunter who try to catch them. When in Chase me they are a ghosts without physical bodys which can affect him only in dreams, in Good Night they recive back their physical forms at the end. So Nightmare Hunter is trapped in their previous dimension and they again are human. You must watch Fly High now 😊 They filmed mv in France and story took place 100 years before Chase me. each members are the symbol of various type of nightmare.
-Dami : be hurt or wounded in dream(so when she remove a rabbit doll's eyes, the guy also dream that he lose his eyes)
-Siyeon: be put in a narrow place in dream.(so the guy can't go out from his room 808)
-Sua: have a paralyzing nightmare
-Gahyeon: fall down from a high place in dream(good night MV_she fell down , Chase me, she push the books which located in a high place, and guy think it's a poltergeist)
-JiYu: be chased by some mysterious person in dream
-Yuhyeon: get lost in dream( when every rooms are 808)
-Handog: feel like someone still stare me
so when you remember the concept of each member, you can easily find a lot of contents which will appeared in next albums

I've also been waiting for this reaction 😊 I like Dreamcatcher so much. They bring something new in the kpop world. Not many girl groups venture on heavy rock. Like when you're an anime fan and they come out of with this kind of genre ghad that makes me happy. I'm also still trying to figure out what's the whole storyline. I'm still quite confused 🤷🏻♀️ But in my opinion the guy is just a ghosthunter/psychic and I think he discovered something he shouldn't have found(?) Anyway I'm gonna check your reaction to Fly High rn :)

Just to add, I think he's a ghost hunter/psychic. Apparently we'll find out more backstory in Fly High, so good! :) And yeah, the music is awesome, I think kpop needs more of it!

Oh man, don't get your hopes up too high; Fly High has clues, but it seems pretty opaque... Or maybe I'm just dull. (And not knowing their names (except for Dami) doesn't help either...) They seem to gradually fall under a spell (or become witches?) And that hand looks like it was bitten hard by that spider!!
Also, both Chase Me and Goodnight mvs have a lot of references to Stephen King's The Shining movie
