If anyone has a issue about flashlight moves faster than expected and not synchronizing with other viewports, just detach your spotlight from your camera. You can use the same code, just attach your spotlight to anywhere else. I'm using first person mode and i moved flashlight to mesh, i don't know why but it just works.

I just attached the light to the camera boom, and it automaticly replicated the light movement, cuts out a bit of extra work, unless im missing something. But so far ive seen no issues

@@baptisteruberte7841 attach the spotlight to your spring arm with your first person camera. the replication code for up and down of that spotlight is no longer needed and the position of spotlight should be the direction your camera is pointing! hope this helps

I got a question tho, in one of ur previous videos, u showed us how to make a character select widget, which i found very helpful, but how can i add a custom HUD for each character that i can see ingame ( not the same widget, a different one for each character that shows his/her abilties and weapons)? i tried using the event begin play on each character but i didn't work . I would be thankfull if u can help me with this one. TY in advance
It's a pleasure man, and creating the widgets in each blueprint didn't work for you? I can look into that more and get back to you/make a tutorial on the subject at some point :)

Hello, matt On Vaulting & Climbing (Parkour) Part 2 - I have an issue when I press my Vaulting key, my character was colliding on the terrain. how do I fix this? Thanks.
I got a problem can u help me I will send my game editior file to you the problem is I can’t open my game I don’t know why it’s not open don’t have a problem while exporting
@@MattAspland "A second part will be released soon to fix a minor bug. If client 1 opens the door, and client 2 goes to close it. The door will snap closed then open again. This is a simple fix, we just need a replicated Boolean so each client knows if the door is already open or not."
Any ideas why this is working fine on the server where everyone sees the flashlight but not when a client does the same ? (after adding a print in "Toggle Light On Server" I can tell it's never printing when a client call it, only server)

would this work with a boom arm? i have my flashlight attached to a boom arm so it can lag behind the camera slightly
is there any way to fix it without detaching it from the camera?
To answer my own question, it works just fine having the boom arm attached to the mesh itself and the camera lag still works

The Y axis replication part works for me kind of, but it is doubling the actual y axis input which I don't want, any ideas?
It happens the same to me, any idea? I just took X,Y,Z from spotLight and worked

Looks like the problem is when the code is inside another blueprints, everything works perfectly inside the character class
