With this step you get into the mask. Then just click ctrl+V to paste your previous selection. Click again on the normal layer or any other to get out of the mask. And basically you should be done.
WOW! this tutorial has blown my mind. I've started to learn PS in 1989, while in my junior year in college. I've worked in PS throughout my design career. I learning very early in my career there are abundant of ways to accomplish an affective design. I'm glad that I never grew arrogant enough to think I know it all. Again! WOW! This tutorial is AWESOME. Now I'm taking this piece along with some of creative tricks up my sleeve and adding it to my After Effects Video Production Film Bumper (closing film credits). This has rejuvenated & boosted my CREATIVE SOUL. I'm AMPED about this DOPE video & CAN'T WAIT to explore the other tutorials that your team was gracious enough to share.
Man, it's such a treat to finally find someone who does tutorials not only with amazing technical skills but also good taste! Thank you for the amazing content brother, keep it up! 🙏🏼
This was and amazing tutorial, not only on the quality level in all aspects, but the fact that you actually explained why everything worked the way it did its truly amazing. thanks for that.
Have done a lot of scanning of rougher handmade stencils and this is easily the closest technique I've seen to replicating the effect in Photoshop. Thank you!
Hi. I'm really loving these videos. I been using photoshop for years but I have been desperate for clear and concise tutorials. These are great and I'm currently steam rolling my way through them. Like and Subbed! Keep up the amazing work
That's really cool to hear... Its way more gratifying posting stuff up when I can connect it in my mind to real people out there, so thank you, appreciate that!
Hello, Yesterday I accidentally came across your channel. Since I am always looking for something new, for Photoshop and Blender. So I reworked almost all your super cool text effects. That wasn't so easy for me as a German with some tutorials from you. And my English is very bad. So I had to google a few times to find out what kind of filder they are. But then it worked out great. I like the one with Berlin best. You are doing it really well. Thanks for all your tutorials. I hope you make some more great text effects. I am curious. So thanks again
Hey thank you so much for posting the message, that's really cool to hear... bitte schön! And cool, I like how that Berlin one turned out too. I have a bunch of ideas for new ones, I'm just trying to get them down to the least amount of steps possible... But something soon... cheers!
@@Texturelabs Okay, well I'm already looking forward to your next tutorial. Yesterday I did the one with the wood and the distortion filder. I did not know this filter until then. And in German I did not find the filter for a long time. Only after a few times of googling I could find it. Also in the Fildergallery I had my problems with the English. I will upload my finished pictures to Instagram. And of course I will mention you. Then you can also see my work. At Instagram you can find me under the name: Mexle3D Keep up the good work.
👏👏👏 amazing channel , also been working with PS for the past 30 +years ( no layers ) if you old school peeps remember I think it was PS 2.0 or 2.5?.... Great content! Always learning new teqniques!, great channel as many others out there!
Fantastic tutorial, I hope you do more. I love stumbling across people like you and really help me grown learn more about my profession.... thank you so much !!
OOOfa awesome effect with soooo many steps!!! If I want the main logo to be a color, how do I do that? Somewhere in the all the steps my red logo turns white, adding a color layer or color fill doesn't seem to work. What am I missing here?
What a gorgeous tutorial! Exceptional job, your explanations are extremely good and helpful-it's teaching more than just how to accomplish an effect, but a whole way to derive new effects as well. Thank you!
Another amazing tutorial! One suggestion I'd make is using Diffuse >> Anisotropic rather than a Gaussian blur to soften the effect of the Dissolve blend mode (something I found really effective when trying to lose the harsh edges created by the Threshold adjustment).
Right on... I've actually been meaning to do some experimenting with diffuse. Just haven't ever made it a part of my workflow, but I've recently seen some tutorials where it was really useful. Always something new to learn!
@@Texturelabs I'd also never really used diffuse, which is why I thought it worth mentioning - it's particularly effective if using Threshold, where a gaussian blur introduces too much softness.

Try this, and when trying to paste, it doesn't let me, nothing happens. Do you know how I could solve it?
@@genesisgabrielaacuna5270 You have to use the selection tool to select it all then copy it. It should work normally with the steps thereafter.
please! Can you give more detailed instructions? i'm from VIETNAM and i'm having a hard time right here!

Edit > Fill > Behind JUST BLEW MY MIND
Well i thought using masks can work also but this one is magical lol
I'm not necessarily a fan of that over just using a separate fill layer beneath it, as fill behind is destructive.
