NDP 2021: Singapore’s National Day Parade to mark 56 years of independence

- After being postponed by about two weeks, Singapore’s National Day Parade took place on Saturday (Aug 21) at The Float @ Marina Bay, celebrating the nation’s 56th birthday. About 600 participants were involved in the parade, with other performers joining virtually in pre-recorded segments. cna.asia/3kdk4y3

Thank you for selecting and showcase the REAL local Singapore talents this NDP. The songs written are so poetic and brings the emotion yet uplifting.
This year's NDP really affirm that there ARE REAL Singapore talents-gem hidden and we need more talented creative directors like Boo Junfeng who take the road less travelled and encourage these talents to show their creativity and potential!

This is what our NDP should be like, humane and emotional, dreams and hopes we chase for, and to be Singaporean with a heart for our future's well-being. Love the animation parts, this made me swell up with pride when the fact is that it's based on true stories. The 5 stars and moon is my favourite!
I hope this serves as the direction for future NDPs. Thank you, Boo Junfeng for taking the helm, together with performers, to create NDP that invokes retrospection in our daily lives and inspires our country to stand up for Singapore in times of adversity, and for ourselves as well.
Legit one of the better NDP celebrations that came out in the past decade. Had a good theme song and tight storyline. Greats songs throughout the celebration too.

This year NDP is very good, especially the show. If there is no past, there is no future as we learn from the past for a better future.
The issue is many in Office took the Past Success for Granted.
Not Working for the Now cos they know they just take what they can Now n leave the Future to the next Gen to clean up their mess.
This Current Administration destroyed one by one what was built by Many the last 30 years in just under 15.
They are All Self Above Service n Country.
SG United is about the People. We are indeed united.
Yet the Ones in Office are all about Outsiders n Foreigners.
Singaporeans are special in every way

The best part is when the story revealed it was zubir said who wrote the national anthem, and the tune cutsnoff to a portaion of it. Amazing storytelling!
Wow! I missed my Singaporean friend in the 80's who can sing well🥰. I was part of the foreign constructor's teams who help built the Marina Center Project in 82-85, the largest hotel complex in Asia. #the_aging_ofw🤠🇵🇭
