Exploring US, Afghan & Pakistan’s relations with Islamabad Policy and Research Institute’s executive director, Dr. Hussain Nadim. What was his thought behind joining a think tank? How did he reform IPRI? Why don’t boomers trust the youth of Pakistan? What is the concept behind G5 IO? How TikTok has reached out to the grass-root level? What does he think about US forces leaving Pakistan? How does it affect Pakistan? What is the best and worst scenario? What is the impact of the border fences created by Pakistan on security? How important is it? Why there has been no call from President Joe Biden to Prime Minister Imran Khan? In the context of Pakistan, why are we refusing to call Osama bin laden the way everybody is calling?

Exactly his answers his answers are so smart. Take us generals who fought native Americans one so smart 1000iq answer. It only has small problem that even if that general lived to be 100 years old he will be dead 150 200 years ago even civil war generals were dead by ww1 ending. And if you ask anyone including the president what happens was wrong they will it was. Native Americans have there own land seprate along with a Native American congress and Canadian pm constantly apologises and continue to pay for their wrongs worth money. But yup 10000 iq Harvard answers. Such people are running think tanks in Pakistan along with people like lal topi Hamid.

The debate that came out of that same Imran Khan interview: the relation between rape and clothes should also be discussed in a podcast with an actual criminal expert who understands the reality of the rape crime in Pakistan, someone who understands criminal/rapist psychology, and how much it actually affects sex crimes etc. I would, and I think many others in your following would like to listen to that!

    very interesting conversation..
    my two favt takes:
    1. Think tanks opinion/reserach is available for the next government, they just need to build heir expertise and the next govt cannot bypass them.
    2. We don't have to deal with the awkwardness/the status of OBL, as it is not our problem, nor are we obliged to.

To be honest, really inspired from his communication skills. A message for those who always criticize that we give priority to our youth who graduate from foreign countries. I think, this podcast is a great example for them. we have to appreciate everyone and motivate each other. Indeed, foreign exposure is necessary for our youth as well. thanks for understanding.

True need to be promotion of local trained experts from Pakistan institutions, will take time , system reform , going abroad does not mean you are best expert as once go abroad you get trained in the institutional thought or thinking based on western context and should not strictly impose that when coming back .
