Some effects take up a lot of processor resources and so it lags some depending on how fast your computer is. What you can do is lower the quality of your video preview window, just click the little drop down box beside the window and set it to "draft auto" or "preview auto".

Kay Dro Did it say unsupported format? If so it's the preset manager 2.0 that is causing it, newer packs don't work with it, just uninstall that then download and install the preset manager 1.0 version then it will work. The link to download 1.0 is in the description box of this video.
Yeah the more effects a plugin has the more it has to render for the preview window so some of them may make it a bit laggy, you can lower your preview quality some and that will help.
The effects do yes but some people have had issues installing the sony preset manager 2.0 on 8, if you can get that installed then it will work just fine.

The file is supposed to open with the preset manager, that's how you install them. If you are having trouble opening the actual ".rar" file then download "winrar" it's a free program to open archive files, from there just drag drop the .sfpreset file inside it to your desktop then install with the preset manager.

Your putting the video on a dvd? What dvd making software do you have? The settings you have are great for high quality internet video (just make sure you set image size to keep original and set pixel aspect to 1.000) , but if you are putting it on a standard dvd with Sony dvd archetect then you will have to use the dvd archetect settings in Vegas, which are not hd (unless you do a blueray dvd).
Sure, when I updated from pro 8 to pro 11 all the effects packs I made with pro 11 only work in pro 11 and 12 (this pack is one of them), the earlier packs I made were with pro 8, which worked in movie studio most of the time, unfortunately pro 11 is not the same.

No but there is a mini compatibility pack for 10 in the description box, it has three of the CC effects and the three RGB twitch effects from my other pack. Also my first pack with the top gear effects works in 10 as well.
Yeah if it's still too slow after setting your preview window to "draft auto" then you can always pre-render a section of your timeline by setting a loop region (the little yellow marks right above your timeline) once your loop region is the size you want just click Shift + M (or right click the loop region and select "selectively pre-render video") and you can pre-render it and see it with no lag.
Cool effects, nice work. In a next video you could be able to split your screen and put on the left the 'original' and right the effect, that way we can better see the difference. But nice work anyway (y)

That was done with the newblue titler pro 2.0, it came with my vegas pro 11 upgrade, it has a bunch of presets and stuff to make it easy and one of the presets was the shuffling letters.

These were made with Vegas pro 11, looks like effects made in 11 are only compatible with 11. I wish I could make a version that is compatible with previous versions but I used some new video fx's like "Glint" that are only in newer versions. So there isn't a filter packages folder in your plugin chooser window? That's weird, there should be. Do you have vegas "Pro" 12? Or movie studio 12?

Just curious, have you updated you vegas program in a while? You may need the latest build, might be worth a try.
