Yes, once your feather gets wet. Keep combing it and keep putting the corn starch mixture and once done comb it from the other side of the comb ( means just press it from the other side of the comb) so that the curls settle down. Leave to dry. Hope this will help! 😊

It no longer looks like macrame though- it looks caked up and funny! When you do it with hairspray it still looks like macrame and soft ,even though it stiffens...

With colorful cord is it visible color the starch color?
With colorful cords, you can use the starch.. it is not visible
