Thank you! I also found you on TT. I signed up for my first market happening on June 25th. I have zero inventory but am hustling to get things made! Thank you for all of the tips ❤
First market - SO EXCITING!!! You got this! Try and create items that cover all three prices points: low, medium & high. Just remember to have some fun too - the first show is such a rush! Enjoy it! 😃
My husband goes with me. While I’m the checkout/register person, he does all the boxing, packaging and bagging for me. The best part of him coming along is he is my biggest fan- he brags on my products and loves talking to the customers. We have so much fun together.
I’ve done most of my craft fairs alone. But I always know people there that are willing to watch my booth if I need to step away. I don’t think I would know what to do with an extra set of hands 😅. But on the other hand. I met one of my very best friends at a craft fair. We don’t go a day without talking now. I don’t know what I would do without her.
Some people do better with a solo experience and more power to em! Just means more room in the booth for displays and items! $$$ I'm glad that you have a lifelong friend that you met at a craft fair! That's awesome! 😃
If you haven’t done one before, consider splitting a booth with a friend if you know someone who participates in shows. This is a nice way to get out there and get your feet wet without going “all in” by yourself. 😊
I can never find anyone to help me! It would be so nice to have company. It is stressful for me, as I take great pride in my setup and diaplays. It can be a real juggling act multi-tasking all the points you've listed above. I've only done small fairs so far.
Yeah it’s difficult to get a helping hand at events but don’t stop trying! If you can secure a helper for the day, it will unlock a lot of great opportunities for you!
I was a helper for a friend who needed help with merchandising her booth better. I have stronger skills in that area so was able to create better displays for her goods than she could have done on her own, plus kept changing things up as the day went on. So find yourself a helper that has strengths you don't possess!

@@howtocraftfair no one ever has time to help 😅 my boyfriend will build any display I need though!
Helpers are always good! I like to have the kids help out with our toy unboxing videos!
They do a great job in the videos! 👍
Found you on TikTok. And have subscribed
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the channel! 😃
Thanks for the advice. I am thinking about doing craft fairs with my sewing projects.

As someone thats going to try fantasy renfaires in the Netherlands in 2025, you give wonderful tips and insights, thank you!
That sounds incredibly exciting! You will have to share pictures with me of your booth one day! Thank you for watching and commenting from afar! 😃👍
Great tips! I need to attend more local fairs or volunteer to help out! :)
Some craft fairs are desperate for volunteer help! Definitely look into it - they would appreciate it!
