Well, the boba pearls, instead of being made with tapioca powder, could be popping boba, which usually is made with Agar agar, a seaweed-gelatin... but, of course, if the character was dedicated enough, they could use REAL gelatin. How is gelatin made? Well, with the parts the character has no other use for, Bones, Cartilage, and Skin. So, though you didn't intend it, it could accidentally be a nice way to play into the themes.
the original sounds like being trapped in the same room as a killer, who taunts and toys with you because they're blocking your only escape and there’s nowhere for you to run, nowhere to hide; your death is inevitable and they know it. meanwhile, this remix sounds like being chased by a killer instead, frantically running for your life but hearing their footsteps get closer and closer and feeling your legs begin to ache, knowing that you cant run forever. I love how a remix like this can so dramatically change the vibes of a song! good work!
Thank you so much!! I really did wanna respect the vibe of the original but still take it in a whole new direction! I tried adding lots of ambience and creepy other worldly creature sounds in the background^^ trying to give it an eldritch feel! And that totally would tie in with running from something, but no matter where you go, it follows and will inevitably reaches you, and by that point you’re too tired to run ultimately succumbing to the eldritch kitty🐱
The “snap the sinew” section under this guise feels so much more intense, like she’s speeding up, and your vision starts to fade due to exhaustion AHHH I love making scenarios based on songs

I love how the end is a lot more sober and dramatic than the original. It adds a lot of depth to the song and about the girl (?) in the song when she says “still praying hopeless and in vain” like she’s trying to get better but can’t

Saving this as a theme for my D&D lizardfolk barbarian (path of the beast), who has an insatiable hunger for just about any kind of meat. The original song has more of an “obsession/crazy lover” vibe. This version sounds like a feral cannibal who can’t help but kill and eat, over and over again. It’s perfect.

I really do love the eldritch vibe, it adds such a rolling somber tone behind all the chaos, and the voice being more standout/louder really highlights the humanity of the singer. The original gave more of this detached insatiable drive aside from all emotion, very electronic (which I like a lot), but with this one they sound like a real person with passion and doubt-it just has such a different vibe I’m obsesseddd, fantastic work!

Both from the recent decisions they’ve made, and im not sure what hiccups may arise, since it’s not a standalone original @.@ BUT with how popular this is, I will look into it and get the permissions I need, and see if we can get this on Spotify without issue^^💪💪

I’ve gotten a couple comments like this and they always make me so happy 😭😭 to think anyone likes my version more or equal to the original is insane to me 🙏❤️ as for lore there’s not a whole lot, but I wanna leave traces of some kind of lore when I upload more remixes in the future.
