Many past & present Springboks who have played with Kriel have all said that the man is always the fittest in the room. Jesse Kriel could probably win a pro bodybuilding show or do crossfit if he wanted to. The man is built like a Greek god but also very athletic.
South Africa is rich. This guy is a gem. I am happy that he's still under 30. He can still serve our Springboks in 2027.
Imagine he's now actually peaking as a player. With Kriel, Am, Moody and Esterhuizen the Boks are going to be lethal for some time to come

Brada no offence but Kriels 2 good recent performances doesn’t even touch Ams insane consistency for years now. Kriel is hitting form and very impressive currently. But once Am is back from injury Kriel is out no questions asked.

Can you do a video with all the tackles made by Peter-Steph du Toit? Twenty eight tackles in 80 minutes. It will be a fantastic compilation to view. Also, it would be a great example to show to all players, beginners and professionals, on how it should be done legally and that it can be done. It probably won SA the game!
Great edit - couldn't be happier for the guy to have won a WC while on the field, and same goes for Trevor Nyakane. Both guys were injured in the first game of WC 2019 against the ABs, and both finished victors against the ABs in the 2023 WC!
I am a massive Kriel fan. He is a very humble man and works his tail off. We have the luxury of him and Lukhanyo Am as options.
