OH MY GOD, you are so good teaching it!!! Usually I give up cause I can't find good instructions, but here... you showed us everything we need to know, simple and tips to make it fancier haha I LOVE IT!!!
Thank you thank you thank you!!! 🙏 Been trying to learn this through another tutorial and actually gave up on one of my favourite songs. Within 5mins of your tutorial I already had a grasp of the basic chords I needed and could already sing through the whole song. Can’t wait to master the arpeggios. You are amazing at what you do and how you simplify something. Thank you again!
I like how you really get into that Outro section with all its highlighting going on. That's the beauty of Radiohead. This song has always bugged me. For a seemingly simple 4 chord song I find it quite hard to get the feeling right. I'll get it down in the end, one day.
I've checked out a couple of your videos and I gotta say i love the way you structure and breakdown these songs. It helps alot keeping me fresh on why notes change with time signatures. Tytytyty
I love this song so much! I have watch other tutorials for it, but had not yet taken the time to try to learn it. Now that you've done it, I surely will. Thank you for this one Nate! ❤
When you were here before Couldn’t look you in the eye You’re just like an angel Your skin makes me cry You float like a feather In a beautiful world I wish I was special You’re so fuckin’ special But I’m a creep I’m a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here I don’t care if it hurts I want to have control I want a perfect body I want a perfect soul I want you to notice When I’m not around You’re so fuckin’ special I wish I was special But I’m a creep I’m a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here She’s running out again She’s running out She run, run, run run Run Whatever makes you happy Whatever you want You’re so fucking special I wish I was special But I’m a creep I’m a weirdo What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here I don’t belong here.
Love this arrangement so much! Thanks, Nate for making so many of my favorite songs accessible to me on piano. Would love an arrangement for Fake Plastic Trees.
Thanks again Nate! One of my most favorite songs and it sounds just amazing! ❤ Did you ever think about doing “Old Man River”? Would love to learn that one on the piano! I looked on your channel but could not find that you did that one yet. Thanks Again Nate, love your channel! Please keep the songs coming, you been so helpful in learning how to play!!😊❤❤❤
I love this song thank you so much. Finding your TH-cam channel has been this best thing that has ever happened to my piano playing. Your tutorials are the best on TH-cam and I love the play through at the end. Keep up the good work 👏 could you please do a tutorial for Karma police if you have the time thanks again 😊
Thanks I loved❤. Is the best version. Thanks for your work. Righ now I want to play😍 In Spain, are now at 2:15 a.m o'clock🌃 but I don't worry. I want to play this song ❤ I don't sleep Thanks from Spain
Nate - thanks so much for this and for all the other pieces you've taught. You're really great at this! I'm sure you get many, many song requests so I hope you don't mind if I throw 2 in the ring, both by R.E.M. One is "Perfect Circle." If you're not familiar with it, it's piano driven, very pretty, and just repetitive enough that it shouldn't be too hard for folks like me. The other is "Find the River," a gorgeous song that's guitar driven but probably easy enough to convert. Here's to hoping you can do this and thanks so much!
Hi Nate I really enjoy your lessons. I’m wondering just cos I want to practise with metronome at what speed should I set it on my rolandfp60. Thanks oh I meant for the song Creep
HI! Radiohead plays it at ~94BPM, so that could be a goal. But the correct speed to practice with the metronome is the speed that you are able to do without many mistakes. Even if that is very slow. And then very gradually speed it up over the course of several practice sessions, until you can nail it at the goal tempo. Good luck!
Bro i would like to suggest something you should make tutorials on famous songs cause you are not getting enough views and you hold great potential love your videos And please just make a tutorial on perfect by Ed Sheeran
Eddie, here, Nate. I thought you'd get to this one soon enough. I learned this one from Nacho Pozo, I can see that your students will learn it much easier from you. Good call!
@@johnedwardpiano eh just watch what notes he plays and you’ll get it eventually. He has chords written out on the actual videos. Nacho is great. His November Rain is excellent
this is so helpful thank you!!! and i have a question! so i transposed the chords down -4 and -5, do the rules for the suspended notes and the step ups stay the same? because it sounds kinda weird when i do them hahah😭
Yes but make sure you’re accounting for black notes, the 4th you step up to for the sus4 is always just a half step (the very next note, regardless of black or white) above the 3rd
Hi! I dont have sheet music for it, as I put it together by ear. That said, my version is quite accurate to what is played on the original recording, so if you search for accompaniment sheet music for that song, I bet you'll find something pretty similar!
Are the inversions your idea or is that accurate with the recording? I have a hard time understanding when the inversion is used and when its not, or is it just preference. This all coming from a less then 1yr piano player 😎
Hi Dale! There are many reasons why I might choose specific inversions, in this case it is because it is most accurate to the guitar part on the recording. When broken into the arpeggios, the highest note of these inversions are the same as the highest note in the guitar arpeggio on that chord. Often times I might choose some inversions based on how smoothly they flow with the adjacent chords to avoid "jumping" my hand around. Cheers!
@@PianowithNate thanks and im on ur email list as I've downloaded chord charts. I've been playing about 6 months and I find myself jumping between being impatient and trying to play "music" vs focusing on theory and then trying to find the point on which it all clicks. Wondering if maybe u can do a video on that sometime if others seem to go through this as well?
Hi! Do you mean a version to use if you're a guitar player, or a different piano arrangement to use if you're playing keys along with someone else who is playing guitar?
@ sorry for my english but I mean like if there is a different versión to play in piano along with someone who plays electric guitar. Btw thank you for this video and this cannel bc you help me so much to learn.

Very nice video and interpretation, but i was so disappointed when i received the 'partition' (just lyrics with the chords). I felt abused and unsubscribed strait away from your channel and the newsletter 😢
I think your channel is the perfect approach, Nate. I never would have been able to learn if I only had traditional sheet music as an option. Your presentation is perfect for novices. Keep up the good work.
