Wow, as a fan of Suju since 2006 and an Exo fan since before they actually debuted, this video is very bittersweet. On the one hand, I am so, SO happy to see all of them flourishing and doing well in their lives (and getting to see lil Yixing being as adorable as ever!) but on the other hand, seeing this, and knowing the reasons behind why Han Geng, Henry and Lay can't be with their respective groups... thinking about what could have been for all three of them and imagining where their rightful places are... Yea, this tugs the heartstrings.

Even from some of the other members of SuJu, or so the rumors at the time said. Think what Kyuhyun talks about as far as bullying within SuJu and then multiply and sprinkle racism ontop (Kyuhyun bonded the best of the korean members with the chinese ones back then, which with context is not surprising). In 2009 he sued SM for termination of contract. It settled out of court (SM'd just lost the Dongbangshinki JYJ lawsuit) and he was able to go back to China. You can see how uncomfortable he is initially in the above clip. I suspect the song is not bringing back happy memories for him. I can't speak for Lay, and Henry actually leaving was after my time. But Henry was originally supposed to be a member of Super Junior. Due to public backlash he wasn't ever made part of the full group and was never debuted in a band. I believe he was seriously wasted, such an amazing talent. I don't like to speculate and I haven't done the research to say more than that. Everything above is subject to memories from 14+ years ago, and translated from content available to foreign fans at the time haha.
They're so sweet, I miss seeing them in their original line up with their Group Brothers, but am happy to see how they're succeeding with their own chosen projects!
