Why do they need to look up to this kind of thing? some idols are only for business and fame, some are just joining groups for exposure and stepping stone to get into solo. Brotherhood or being a family, it comes when people are together for several years. Like Jay park, he probably doesn't even know any of his members numbers, cuz it was all business. So are the past exo members, maybe they were close but not as close as the current exo members are now. Heechul is just a person who can easily talk to, if it was yesung there, they wouldn't be talking.

Omg yes!!!! I remember those old days when they have outing and have to shout one things to the next pperson. They were always bestie. Heechul doesnt follow the rule and always himself that's why I love him more and more. I always wish to see them reunite. I'm not sure if this was the first time but so good to see them together. I wander how Hangeng's korean is like now. Brotherhood stick together. Look how Heechul didn't want to leave Hangeng side, but I think he is also shy in the Chinese events bec most are Chinese stars and he doesnt know anyone.
Heechul never pretend like hangeng, kibum, kangin, sungmin were never in suju. He always mention them whenever he feels like to. Maintaining such friendship despite coming from the most strict agency in korea. He's like he has his own justice for everything, and no one could compromise it with him.

I can't believe it's been exactly 10 years since he left and they're still as close as ever..
I still remember how depressed Heechul was when Hangeng left. All the tears he shed, the refusal to come out of his room for 3 months straight, and refusal to smile even in front of camera to the point like he could burst into tears any second. I'd never want to see that Heechul ever again in my life

@@windyks he's a Chinese citizen. First, China banned their citizen to be in somewhere in Korean industry. So he had to played cat and mouse just to be in Korean TV shows so China won't see him there. Second, Korean (at that time and or I don't know to nowadays) don't like foreigner especially being an idol. Third, as a result of the second...he wasn't into getting recognition from the agency.

Even though Hangeng is not with SM or Super Junior. He will always be a member of Super Junior. All the members still talk about him, see him and talk to him. They are brothers and members, not by contract but by brotherhood and that is good enough for me.

Idk why this kind of pure and sincere brotherhood is so rare to find now. Like suju is all very forgiving and laid back. What happened to them back then (the separation and the law suit etc) was not exactly the members faults and idk i think they're so mature to understand that, so they still maintain relationship like this without hatred.
SuJu have been through so much good and bad but still remain a close-knitted family and keep optimistic about the future, that’s why they’re considered one of the best in the industry
It also helps that SuJu's parents and siblings are very close. The things they've been through brought them together as more than a band but a family. It's not perfect but it is beautiful.
It’s not Suju but Heechul. Heechul had always met hangeng whenever he is in china, he promoted kibum. The other members act like those two never existed.

It's incredibly hard for them to visit, especially with Hangeng in different country. They didn't even have time to visit fellow active members and could go months without meeting each ohter if there's no group schedule, nevermind someone in China.

In my opinion, Hangeng is Heechul’s closest friend in Suju aside from Leeteuk. Whenever I watched Suju’s variety shows where Hangeng was still there, Heechul rely on him the most and Hangeng genuinely cares for him. I’m still sad just by thinking that they are coutries away from each other. I wish Hangeng will visit South Korea and other suju members too in the future!

I think the reason why suju has this great brotherhood is because earlier they were just a project group not a permanent group so they all do have that factor in back of their mind that later they will separate and do their individual work.
Therefore they created a special bond and enjoy the time they had together to the maximum
And not to mention they had to support each other during extremely hard moments like when Donghae's dad passed away and during the two accidents.
I don't know the truth, but I do believe that if not for the other members encouragement and support, big chance that Heechul and Kyuhyun would left already.
I’m emotional again.. I remember Heechul’s state when Hangeng left. I was crying everyday for seeing him like that. Now I can see their friendship and brotherhood will last 4ever and I can’t be more happy.

This happen during one of the toughest time for Heechul . It was when he lost his precious friends and Heechul took a break from social media .. and at that time I still remembered that Petals/ Elfs were very worried for him . But when we saw this interactions on Twitter. It was a sign of relief that Heechul is getting better . It was one of the most precious moments at the period of time .
If they had acted awkward I probably would have cried. I’m glad they just look like old friends 💙
They still meet each other in other moments. When Hangeng in S.K he would tell SJ members. If SJ members in CH one of them probably will tell Hangeng. The korean entertainment laws at the time was totally worst to Hangeng as the first non korean idol. He never meant to left SJ, but the situation made him leaves. That's why they are still friends. There is none who left SJ actually, even for Kangin, Sungmin, Kibum, Henry.
Aww this is the type of heartwarming news we need to see more often. Heechul has mentioned Hangeng from time to time throughout the years, which proves he holds no ill feelings towards him leaving the group and SM Entertainment. Here it shows that Hangeng feels the same way. He may have had beef with SM as a company and how he was treated, but he doesn’t hold that against Heechul and the other Super Junior members.

I'm tearing up when they hug each other 😭 I'm an exol but been following suju long before exo debut and still keeping eye for them. It's a touching moment when you, as a fan, could see their interaction again, though rare but sure. I feel like elf and exol kinda experienced the same feelings, left by 3 members and 1 member couldnt join the groups promotions. I wish someday exo and the ex members could show their interactions freely like suju did, though now they've done it little by little. Lets cheer each other elf, I'm happy for you.

Happy to see many ELFs here. SJ was once my world and it hit hard when Hangeng had to leave. Seeing Heechul going through all that was tough and I've always admired how he would continue mentioning Hangeng on and off when I'm sure SM would have tried to stop members from mentioning anyone booted from SM. But we all know how Heechul is and given Heechul's closeness with Hangeng, I'm so glad he continues honouring Hangeng through his mentions. True friendship is difficult to find and it makes me happy knowing Hangeng will always have a friend in Heechul and vice versa.
Hangeng was the first Chinese to promote as a Kpop idol. He indeed paved the way to many more Chinese being Kpop idols. Hangeng had virtually zero friends and family to relate to whenever he had troubles. He had to learn a completely new language and culture, and was treated very differently from his Korean members. I remember when Henry and ZM were added to the lineup and the amount of hate they got were terrible. In one of their international tours, fans would chant Henry and ZM's names and often times they were so touched they cried onstage.
I may not be a hardcore ELF anymore but SJ will always have a special place in my heart.

If you see how hard they struggled during their trainee days and early debut years with the uncertains and accidents and haters and how they literally lived together for years, I think they were only had two options. Grew to care and love each other or got into a nasty fight and break-up

I really hope hang geng still keep in contact with super junior member he was my favorite during my childhood when he lead them during sorry sorry and super girl dance he was second favourite after siwon I was only 6 or 7 year old and have no fucking clue what kpop is my older introduced me to them.
I think it’s different with Hangeng and Super Junior. Hangeng and Super Junior never had ill feelings towards each other. They knew exactly what was going on and Hangeng never wanted to leave SJ those were his brothers. Even Leeteuk said he would love all 13 members to be reunited again. Hangeng has no ill feelings towards Lee Soo Man as well. He even thanked LSM when they were in the same event. He didn’t have to but without LSM we wouldn’t know who Hangeng is. I think it’s different with EXO, Kris never told them and just left them quietly which made them really hurt. So when people say they want Kris and Yixing to be like Hangeng and Heechul. Heechul knew when Hangeng left it was hard on him and it was hard on the other members. With EXO it was different, I think EXO is still close to Luhan and Tao but Kris is a different story. As much as I want Yixing to talk to Kris and Kris to talk to the other members maybe it might never even happen and I’m not trying to be mean but the way I’ve seen past interviews of Kris it seems like he doesn’t really want to be in contact with them and doesn’t even want even mention them.
Actually, hangeng left quietly as well ( he had too tho) and heechul was and angry for months. But real friendship will always understand in the end.

I've always admired how Heechul and SuJu in general don't give an f about meeting/mentioning their former members or even fellow artists who left their company as well. I wish this was the case with SNSD and Jessica, but since SM acts like she's Lord Voldemort, I highly doubt they ever mention her again, at least not while being under the company.
Hangeng was Heechul's soulmate in Super Junior. And Kibum was Heechul's most favourite dongsaeng in Super Junior.

A few of these comments inserting EXO into this doesnt really make sense.
Heechul & Hangeng have always & truly been bffs.
Even when watching EXO M back then the friends who you can just see that really click together were Luhan/Xiumin, Lay/Luhan so all these comments wanting Lay to have this same thing with Kris & Tao is tbh pushing for some unrealistic expectation. Now with Kris being blacklisted by the country idk anyone who wants to associate with him anymore.
We already know Lay already talks to Luhan while Luhan was found to have interacted with Xiumin if Im not mistaken.
You just gotta accept that to Lay or Tao, for them they were only coworkers/acquaintance.
I wanna see Yunho and Jaejoong like this. I just recently came to knew about them and it literally broke my heart that they can't meet each other anymore.
