Saharanpur (India) is internationally famous for wood carving. Dating back to about 400 years in Mughal period, some craftsmen came from Kashmir and settled down in Saharanpur and took this work as to earn their bread and butter. Gradually this art got extended amongst common man in Saharanpur. And now wooden handicraft work is famed all over the world.
India abounds in trees which provide the raw material for woodcraft, in fact, Indian wood is quite famous worldwide. Teak wood, sheesham, deodar, ebony, redwood, rosewood, red cedar, sal and many others are the wood from India which are extensively used by Indian craftsmen, as they lend themselves to fine decorative carving and inlay work.
Workers busy with carving. It was also influenced by Kashmiri designs, with many of the craftpersons having descended from Kashmiri immigrants. These influences continue to reflect in contemporary products like the finely chiseled screens and jaali work and the anguri or vine leaf pattern found in many Saharanpur products.

Sofa factory prices are very high. Iam from kerala and usually I wonder watching sofa factory videos you have made. Iam your subscriber and I have watched almost all videos you have posted and always waiting for your videos. While watching sofa factory videos I wonder why vishal puriji quote such a high price which is not reasonable. Frankly telling Iam crazy about carving furnitures and I had plan to come to delhi and purchase complete carved furniture for my 5 bed room house finally I dropped my idea by seeing his price.

Very nice. Shops, showrooms in Delhi markets are fleecing the end users, buyers. Perhaps, the people don't have the time, patience to explore to our traditional markets, away from fancy markets. Saharanpur, Bareilly, in UP, Kartarpur in Punjab all are huge wooded furniture markets, durability quality, craftsmanship, are excellent with highly reasonable prices.. Itna din aur paisa lene ke bad v isne unfinished ekdum faltu quality ka samane bhej dia. Order ke tym pe isne bola tha Asian aur sirca ka polish use karta hai. PU high gloss ka bol ke haat se 2 coat wala polish maar dia. Kahi kahi to 1coat hi mara hai chairs pe. Chair ka foam ek dum faltu quality. Maine engraving design order kia tha. Itna unfinished kaam kia hai. Design ara teda bana dia hai. Kahi kahi to tuta futa hai chars pe. Ek chair pe to haat se jaha pakarta hai oha polish tak maarna bhul gaya. Aise to yeh paise ke liye din mai 3baar phone karega aab jab maine usko bola tab wo msg dekh ke read kar ke rakh dia. Aur GST ka paisa v chura lia. Usne 18% GST lia aur bill bana dia 10000 ka 1800 ka GST bill bana dia. Koi v iss se saman mat lena
