    Twist on terminals are NOT designed for stranded wire. SOLID CORE WIRE ONLY!
    Using twist on wire nuts is a perfect way to cause a short, fire, or blow up your head unit.

      X2 get the heatshrink connectors with the solder in the middle temu has great deals on these kits

    • @HueToobBlows
      @HueToobBlows 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johnfarrandYes, I wholeheartedly agree. Buy some cheap crap off the internet to protect your very expensive investment (car) rather than spend good money on quality electrical connectors.
      I mean, what could possibly go wrong with cheap electrical connectors? Maybe it will just melt the dash wiring, or short out and ruin your stereo, or maybe nothing.
      Do you really want to take that chance for a fucking quarter?

    • @johnfarrand
      @johnfarrand 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HueToobBlows more like a fucking dime! i suggested a tried and true connection that the real pros use at a easy place to find them. and you did what?

    • @HueToobBlows
      @HueToobBlows 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@johnfarrandWell i am a "real pro" (20+ years) that services yachts in the Northeast and would NEVER use or even recommend a product off of TEMU or Alibaba or some other cheap ass shit website.
      They are cheap for a reason!!!! A very important reason and if you are using them on something expensive you run a serious risk of damage or destruction because they are cheap crap!
      On top of that, a soldered connection is NOT RECOMMENDED on a heavy vibration setting like a car/truck/boat as the solder joint can easily crack causing an electrical issue.
      Add to that cheap insulation around this now broken wire spewing voltage everywhere and you know what you get? A fucking fire.
      As a point, I'll mention a video I just saw where someone did just this, melted the wiring harness behind the dash of a very expensive car and TOTALLED the car because the labor to replace the in-dash wiring harness was that extensive.
      Don't.
      Use.
      Cheap.
      Shit.
      Especially if it's on something you value.
