@@dougitoonsdesigns Yep I have listened to the other three blazin' charts at this Nottingham gig in 2019.....simply mind blowing...seen the Pupz 3x in the Big Smoke....1st time at Koko(Camden) 2013....unforgettable night and vibe galour....Well done to you! Now please go up to Scandanavia this August and see Pat Metheny/Side Eye Tour....maestro Metheny...love him since 5 decades...
i definitely hit the Subscribe button...you really did them justice here. very pro looking. I saw them in Dallas for the tour in October. this sounds way better than the "live" version i heard lol, how is that possible!?! I also saw them this year, a session of the recording of Empire Central album. That was maybe the best I've ever heard music...no...no...not maybe...
Nice recording! What the heck is that contraption he is blowing into to make those sounds? Sounds like the same kinda thing Peter Frampton would do during his guitar solos.
Hi @flavouredwallpaper Shaun used a type of vocoder now more commonly known as a Talkbox effects pedal, this one being an MXR M222 Talk Box whick is an effects pedal with a tube attachment that controls the 'sculpting' of the keyboard notes with expressions created by the voice. I believe the technique is more about driving the air through the tube with breath and annunciation rather than singing the notes as you play them. Hope that makes sense?
