Really enjoyed this. Great to see some actual application rather than the usual TH-cam reviews of people scrolling through settings and then saying "oh, this one is nice"
Totally is, I was going to pair it with the SL2 which Boss also sent me but this was so much fun on its own I think I’ll do a separate vid for that one!
Great demo! Loved the 1980s theme movie music! Harold Faltermeyer was a genius and you're right it was Fletch! Would love if you could do a tutorial of how to play Dare by Stan Bush from Transformers The Movie 1986! That soundtrack was great!
Great video!!...I'd like to ask...I bought one and put new batteries in it and when pushing the on off switch nothing happens...please advise if you can..thanks!
Thanks! Not sure mate, just make sure batteries are orienteers correctly and leads are connected to the right inputs on the pedal - failing that id reach out to who you purchased from 🤘
Hahaha you know what I almost did that one. It’s our very own starsky and hutch! Although with a sausage on a fork rather than sliding over the bonnet of a car 😂 Funky tune tho!
this actually sounds like a very cheap synth. no depth at all , can work as a toy but to my ears is far from the real thing synths with lfos and oscillators
A great way of showcasing a fun pedal. As always great playing. Love this channel 🎸
Thanks so much John!

Thanks mate! I always approach my demos from the point of view I have whenever I buy new gear, which is usually “what can I play with this?!”🤣
You had me at Ghostbusters
Haha 😀🤘
That looks like endless fun!

Oh my days. What a classic video… fletch!!!! Brilliant… awesome bud.
Haha love Chevy Chase
I thought I had enough things.
Turns out I need this thing.
Ya have convinced me!
Haha it is a lot of fun. Been playing with it loads 😀🤘
Lots of fun here, many of those tune sounded spot on.
Thanks mate! I deliberately went for as little tweaking to the basic presets as I could, just lots of fun right out of the gate 🤘😊
The Miami Vice was absolutely 🔥
Such a fun way to demo this 😂
Thanks mate! Had a blast putting this one together!
@@LetsPlayAll I’ve got an SY-1, Boss / Roland synth stuff is great
@@drcockles ah awesome! Yea been a fan of Boss since the beginning. Like the Lego of guitar pedals tbh 😀
Oh man! That looks like awesome fun! I’d love to experiment with that pedal on my board
😀🤘

@@LetsPlayAll You're welcome and keep the great demos and lessons coming. Love you're videos! They are the best and most helpful!
@@GGHaj12 ah thanks so much mate, really appreciate it!
@@LetsPlayAll You're welcome and I really appreciate you too!
Love this
Cheers!
Cool stuff, lots of blasts from the past 🙂 Was hoping to hear the Seinfeld theme, which apparently was played on a keyboard, not a bass
Oo good shout, great theme tune!
Beverly Hills 90210 theme was perfect, as far as i remember.
As we’re those 25 year old (pretending to be 16 yr old) sideburns as I recall 😀

@@LetsPlayAll Ok cool!....thanks!
I got the enzo meris and i wish i just bought one of these
Haven’t played any Meris pedals, any good?
@@LetsPlayAll i love it! But its really a complicated pedal. I probably would’ve been better off with the familiar boss format
Ahh - 1997’s Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Arguably the most famous 80’s television show of all!
Haha let’s not forget starsky & hutch was late 70s either which occurred to me after posting but it’s the thought that counts 😂🤘
Awesome pedal
Agreed!
The pedal sounds fantastic in all but that guitar is bloody gorgeous! What the hell is it? I think I need one 😅 And are they P90’s ????
Thanks! Yup Fralin P90s and it’s a custom Novo Serus J 😊🤘
Like it! New subscriber here 🤘🏿🤘🏿
Welcome mate!
I just bought the SY-1, it’s been fun so far. I got it because I’m hoping a band that does some Deep Purple and there isn’t a keyboard player🤦♂️
Haha nice have fun mate, great pedal!
Playing in an 80s band, I've found very limited use for this pedal.
This looks hilarious
It really is a LOT of fun 😊🤘
For us British viewers please could you do "Grange Hill"😊
Hahaha you know what I almost did that one. It’s our very own starsky and hutch! Although with a sausage on a fork rather than sliding over the bonnet of a car 😂 Funky tune tho!
This is kinda like repeat of history butt this time for guitar players boss Sy 1 and Sy 200 is the Yamaha dx7 for us new sounds lol
haha hell yes!

🎶”I wanna new drug”. What? It’s the wrong song?
If Nintendo made a guitar pedal! 😂

That's too cool!
