This is by far one of the greatest parts of this amazing music community. Every day we have customers come into the shop to create and lose themselves in music. Chuck always said, "music is a happy business" ... we couldn't agree more. We decided the world needed to see the awesomeness, so we decided to start randomly shooting these videos. And you could be next! So stop by when you can, and show us what you got. We hope you enjoy!

Sounds fantastic. Is the Shure beta 98 h/c plugged directly into the pedal or is there a preamp in between? If so, what's the preamp?

Whammy pedal? Sounds like any octave pedal with maybe some slight overdrive.

@Parker Kenney What? No the main function of a Whammy is to pitch-shift. Some pedals, like the Digitech Whammy V, allow you to harmonize with yourself, with many more options other than just "an octave up, or an octave down", but this is an extra feature, and the term "whammy" is used for pedal that emulates a guitar with vibrato bar.

@Parker Kenney yes. So you were wrong. The whammy pedal is not an octave pedal. He is not even stepping on a pedal. He is clearly using an octave effect. Now that effect may, or may not be coming for a whammy pedal that has an extra feature to give it that, but that is not what a whammy pedal is.

@@mickeyrube6623 if you’ve ever seen or played a whammy pedal, it has capabilities for both
& you don’t HAVE to use the pedal part you can just leave it
