Is the top dog leaderboard have different skill divisions or is everyone under the same one cause im ranked 9th but I know I’m not that good lol

I think it picks 50 people at random (possibly in the same region) and groups them together. Me and a friend live right next to eachother but are in a completely different group of 50. You just gotta grind exp through winning 1v1's or 2v2's.
