- The Ferrari 296 GTS is a sports car equipped with a mid-ship high-performance unit that combines the new 120° V6 engine that debuted in the coupe-bodied 296 GTB with a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) motor to deliver a total power of 830cv.
Developed as a model that fundamentally rewrites the pleasure of steering the steering wheel and allows the driver to experience pure emotion not only in driving to the limit, but also in everyday driving, the company has measured five different elements of what it calls "driving pleasure" using five different indices.
The first element is lateral acceleration, which is determined by the response to steering wheel inputs, the immediate response of the rear axle to steering inputs, and effortless handling. The third factor is gear change, which involves the time it takes to shift gears and the distinct sense of change that each gear change produces. The fourth factor is braking, which emphasizes the feel of the brake pedal stroke and response.
Finally, the sound of the engine is measured, including the volume and sound quality in the cabin, as well as the change in sound as the engine revs up, and the "hot tube," Ferrari's patented sound system that utilizes exhaust resonance, has been redesigned for the GTS to provide the racy, hedonistic sound of the Piccolo V12 roaring through the cabin.
The result is an exciting, high-performance sports car with the racy, joyful sound of a Piccolo V12 roaring through the cabin.
The Assetto Fiolano package includes some components that required a redesign of the basic structure, such as the inner door panels, which include significant weight reduction and aero parts, resulting in an overall weight reduction of 8 kg.
A special 250LM-inspired Assetto Fiolano PKG livery can also be ordered. The Rosso Corsa body color with blue lines is the same as the "250LM" that was used in the 1965 Le Mans 24-hour endurance race by Maranello Concessionaires, a British Ferrari dealership.
The coloring is reminiscent of the "250LM" that the Maranello Concessionaires, a British Ferrari dealer, entered as a private competitor in the 1965 Le Mans 24-hour endurance race.
As with previous Ferrari Spyders, the roof can be opened and closed simply by pressing and holding a small switch on the center console.
The roof can be retracted in 14 seconds and can be opened and closed while driving at speeds of up to 45 km/h. eD (eDrive) is pure EV driving, with a maximum range of 25 km and a limited top speed of 135 km/h.

When it comes to automotive journalism, Yamagishi’s experience as a Le Mans competitor sets him apart from the rest. Another stellar video!
I think it's because of my extensive experience with analogue-era racing cars, and the fact that I still drive classic racing cars in events like the Mille Miglia, that my body's sensors stay sharp.👍
296 GTSはクーペよりも見栄えが良くスタイリッシュすぎます!
憧れすぎる〜
美しいのサウンドだ!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It sounds like a Baby V12 🔥
I’ve watched numerous videos of Yutaka and his driving skills are truly exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!
I'm glad you appreciated our video.
488 Pista, 550 Maranello, F40, Enzo, Laferrari. These are my personal favorites. Would love to see any of these on your channel.
Sound of beautiful V6 🔥
Ferrari & convertible, you can’t go wrong with that. Always a pleasure to watch (:
296GTSとGTBデザインがカッコいい!最初から最後まで楽しく拝見しました🔥
Lot of people whining about the colour. I actually love it. Gives a more sporty look.
Such a well executed review!
Yutaka is one of the best car reviewer ever! Top video as usual.
I'm glad you appreciated our video.
Great video! Well done Sir.
Your knowledge on cars is god level. I always enjoy your content sir. Keep up the good work👏🏻
I'm glad you appreciated our video.
Your videos are esthetically beautiful! Thank you Yutaka.
I thought the 296 was a lower-priced Ferrari, around 180-250k. I was surprised to learn it actually costs 500k.
Cars of all makes and models have become really expensive lately.
The Ferrari SF90 has a bold and high performance look, while the 296 has a more modern yet classic style.
Love your impression videos mate. If I were to buy Porsche or Ferrari I would go to him.
296 is the most beautiful car they made after splitting from Pininfarina. Well done Ferrari Boys.
V6 making all the right noises.
9:22 Fuji really does look so beautiful. You mention a lot about the cars, but how does it feel driving on such scenic roads? Would love to hear about more of your own experiences with the vehicles tbh
I prefer leisurely drives along country roads to city driving, which is one of the reasons why I participate in the Mille Miglia.👍
In terms of customization and personalization options, what choices are available to buyers of the Ferrari 296 GTS, and how can these options tailor the car to individual preferences?
You can try out your preferred specifications using the carconfigurator on the 296GTS page on Ferrari's official website.
This car doesn’t give any Ferrari vibes.
Maybe Corvette Z06 vibes?
@@finleybutcher7172Z06? I hope you are joking. Design and performance wise.. it isn’t even close. Who in the right mind is choosing Z06 over 296 GTS?
@@finleybutcher7172nobody really cares about corvettes beside Americans 😂
I have driven both spider & coupe model, my only complain it felt cramped inside and I am only 6ft.
Superb review
It looks good and sounds good with Assettohl Fiorano package, this thing would cost you around $370-380k.
It sounds way better than most v8’s. This is not your average v6
Insightful.
I like the spec. She is Beautiful
Very good hybrid super car😊
Wow ❤❤
if you like ferrari 296 and are short on budget. lotus emira would be an excellent choice.
$400k on a car that doesn’t have 8 cylinders would be a interesting choice.
Design wise Ferrari 296 looks way better than SF90.
With almost the same price range to 812 GTS. I am sorry I’ll have to pass on this one.
Love the design but not a fan of paint job.
واو
For the money, give me F8 please.
All that GT racing experience and still couldn’t beat Ford HaAhaha🤣
I am not a fan of modern Ferrari styling.
Ferrari V6 anddddd hybrid? 😂😂😂 what a jokery is this….
Worst color. Painful.
Forza Ferrari 🇮🇹🏁
2:17-2:20 what beautiful shot ♥️
One of very few automotive journalists who have the knowledge and skills to drive any car.
I'm glad you appreciated our video.
Good to see you back in the Ferrari seat 💙❤💙❤💙
Engaging and informative. Well done Yutaka!
Masterful review Yutaka. It’s a joy to watch you drive.
Best current Ferrari design. Lot better than SF90 and F8 Tributo
If I have an option I would take GT3 RS over this any day any week.
I like Japan, I like Ferraris. My favorite channel
This car suppose to be fun to drive but it’s not in manual 💀
Ngl Spider looks way cool than coupe.
That blue is so unnecessary… 🤦♂️
16:37 Love it! Proper spaceship 🚀
Italians know how to design.
I like the spec. She is Beautiful
Doesn’t it look like corvette?
Why does it look like Lotus??
Such a well executed review!
WHAT A BEAST 🐉
What do you think sets the Ferrari 296 GTS apart from other super cars in its class?
Handling suited to endurance racing.
Any video Yutaka does with supercars is incredible.
Love the color. Much better than the standard. And those wheels are 🔥🔥
Another incredible review. Big thumbs up! 👍🏻
Top notch upload! Your passion shines through here.
