First of all, I hope your investigations & treatment are going well (and that you have good insurance so at least the financial worry isn't too great). But my point: I'm a bit sad about how the DLC hasn't worked for you. I don't know how much you rushed because you weren't feeling it, and how much you weren't feeling it because you rushed, but it seemed that missing quite a lot of side quests really diluted the impact of the events in it. Did you pick up from what you learned today about the death of Dod Blevins that it was caused by the girl from the dam changing the sign, getting him lost? The whole animal figurines thing is quite nice, getting Varga to improve your weapons is useful, and so on. I wonder how much the issue was timing. I played the whole main game then Frozen Wilds (figuring that's how the first players would have done it), and I found the DLC a lot more engaging as a result, not having that shadow of "I really need to get back and deal with Hades" hanging over me, and exploring every corner of The Cut because I knew it was my last bit of content so I needed to relish it. One episode to go, 🤞you get a satisfactory resolution. I'm stressing now that you won't find and talk to all your old friends before the final battle.
Oh my gawd! It's meth! XDD
