LikeABawzs respectfully it has nothing to do with 'balls' or courage or whatever else is used to describe what racers and pilots retain. it's all about three core abilities of skill; 1 - spatial judgment: the ability to judge objects (moving or stationary) at any given distance / time. 2- visual perception: (vision) the ability to process the information (reaction time) presented by the eye to the brain. 3 - situational awareness: understanding recognizing the surroundings proximity of objects and their potential dangers. also knowing what to do or the best escape plan if things go wrong. there really is no such thing as "no fear" this is just one of those narratives used to explain the science of physics and neural functions. if you want to know what separates the top MotoGP and Formula 1 drivers from the rest... it's their ability to implement those three core skill sets, faster and more efficiently than the rest... I could only dream of being able to recognize and process information that quickly 😅

Aber wie Du oben auch schon sagst, Nordschleife ist seeeehr tückisch für Bikes. Zu viel Öl und noch mehr verückte und schlechte Büchsenfahrer! Aber nochmal Chapeau vor Deinen Fahrkünsten!

People tend to just leave them on, myself included. Suspension set up is a never ending process. Really helps to know how much adjustment you have left before you will bottom out. Race teams and rich people use potentiometers to track suapension movement, everyone else uses cable ties 😂

Yeah counter steering isn't something you can choose to do... its just how you steer a bike.
