One thing i love about this show is how realistic the phase of overcoming someone's trauma and issues are. It is not done with just one sit, single meaningful convo with someone or moment and you're completely changed. Even tho Yuki has still some struggles understanding Ayame, he's slowly trying to acknowledge his presence and persistence. They still have long way to finally mend their relationship 🙂↕️ I also love how we see Yuki already trying to take small steps forward, initiating things to the ppl he have issues about like going to Ayame's shop, making his parents the one to go the conference even tho he's not in contact with them, and going to the soma estate. I also love Yuki and Haru's relationship, they're everything 🫶🏻
19:18 btw because of the Bull spirit. Hatsuharu basically has a second personality he can’t control the actions of “Dark Haru”. 25:58 Now that I think about it more The Sohma clan works more as a Cult and not a family. Akito has complete power over everybody. The family bows to him and adores him, and few people questions that power. 😅
I love your reactions soo much! 😭😭💕 Also- Yuki is my absolutely favorite in this show. Most people find his character "bland" because he's not loud with his feelings but he is the most complex character with an immaculate character development. I love him so so much and I'm so glad you were able to see how amazing he is too! You are really emotionally mature 💕
Im so ready for you to unravel everything there is to know about Fruits Basket! Hype! Loved you getting teary eyed when Aya was talking to Yuki 😭😭 Everything makes me cry in Fruits basket, but Aya/Yuki moments are the cherry on top... Yuki conquering his own independence is one of the things that break me the most. He's perfect 😭😭 Tohru extended a hand to him if he needed her, but he refused because he knew going back to the Sohma's estate was something he should do on his own. Beautiful! Overprotective Kyo is also nghhhh
4:56 I love Yuki but I feel like he is too narrow minded in this episodes.😅 which I found odd because he is fine with Ritsu wearing women’s clothes to feel comfort and confidence in himself. I don’t know maybe because he lived with a a very conservative family. But I also noticed that with Hatsuharu, he didn’t take his feelings so seriously. Haru clearly had a crush on Yuki and Yuki always dismissed his feelings as a joke 🤔
I think it stems from Yuki himself being feminized so much by other people? Femininity for him is depersonalization, as it reminds him that the only thing outsiders care about are his looks. Ayame tries to push his extravagant dresses onto Yuki as a way of bonding, unfortunately not realizing that's the last thing Yuki wants. Whereas with Ritsu and Momiji, Yuki is fine because that's a fashion choice they made for themselves. As for his dismissiveness of Haru, that probably relates more to Yuki's lack of self worth. Not only is it hard to tell when Haru is joking/serious, but it's also hard for Yuki to imagine that anyone could love him unconditionally, let alone the Ox he "betrayed" and "hates" him according to Akito. Yuki needed the outside influence of Tohru to realize that he CAN be loved for the person he is, regardless of old stories or looks.
He was not narrow minded. He was just weirded out by the "fetish clothes". Anyone would be, especially when yuki has been fetishized again and again by males and females alike for looking like a " Girl" And having "girly body". You do not understand how deeply traumatized he is.
He was not narrow minded, he was just creeped out by the fetish clothes. I would be too, and yuki was fetishized his whole like by males and females alike for his "giry looks and body". You don't understand how deep his trauma runs. Also, how does this fandom always forget how secluded yuki's childhood was. He was not exposed to ANY kind of love. Unlike others, he had nothing. No father figure, ni friends. He did not know love. So, how do you expect him to know about it? He's always grateful to haru and cares about him a LOT (like only he went to visit him after his breakup with rin). He just doesn't feel the same way romantically. He never made haru feel weird or gross for liking him, instead he thanked him many times. This fandom is way too hard on yuki. Give the boy a damn break.
we finally see rin!! AHH
I know I said this before but pleaseee after season 2 react to season 3 trailer first in order to feel the hype.
I think my fav little detail in fruits basket is that Aya reports every little yuki milestone to hatori, it’s adorably hilarious
I love how supportive Miso is in your Fruits Basket reactions 😭

Rin supremacy! Her determination is out of this world

I’m so late for this but omggg that conversation between ayame and yuki always gets me.
“I admire both your weakness and your kindness” 😭
you will soon see why haru is best boi
Yep, and haru in s3 was just unbelievably amazing.
I think we finally know who made the dress Shigure received as a return gift for White Day in the hot spring episode.
I love your reactions soo much! 😭😭💕

Yuki`s idea of healing is being brave and just a bit extraaa flirty and its sooo cuute 😂
I love Aya! Always have since I first saw him! I was born the year of the snake and I would embrace Aya in a heartbeat! 🐍
Gurl I was literally waitinggg
I really relate with Yuki too so I really feel for him, but I’ve got a soft spot for Kyo too - the way he brings out Tohru’s vulnerable side. XD
Fnally the face of my queen Rin 😍 after tohru she is my favorite girl from fruits basket ❤
I've been looking forward to these two episodes' reaction so much 😄
rin and haru are my fave couple omg they're here!
This show is so gooood 😭😭😭
Rin y Haru son mis personajes favoritos de este anime ❤
Wow 34 sec crazy 😂
She's here
i love yuki as a character but if find cute how even in moments with him Tohru always find a way of thinking about Kyo
Our girl Rin is here!
And between the boys, Kyo is my favorite but I relate to Yuki more, so it's a nice balance I guess 😅
🐮❤️
