I started getting my act together & not leaving things to the last minute because I realized as I grew older it seemed more & more of my friends, associates, & coworkers were finding my drag a-- attitude more & more exasperating, irritating, & immature.
That's why you shouldn't leave things until last minute - things go not as planned and you end up with unnecessary stress that could've been avoided by just starting earlier...
Hi, Oh! Wasn't that just awful. I was very late for a flight years ago and that just brought back all that stress. I never want to go through that again.

No. Did you not read the title which says that he ALMOST missed his flight? Think that made it pretty clear that he was going to make it in time...
That bed thing at the end made me feel so happy! Being tall (for an Asian girl) it's so hard to be comfortable sitting in economy class on the plane. And thinking about how much taller Louis is made me so happy for him that he could stretch out!

I love when the flight is empty enough to get a row of seats to sleep on! I got to do that on a flight back from Gran Canaria, and most recently on my flight to London for this years SITC!

i know exactly how you feel about leaving everything til the last minute, but honestly that's how i get everything done, it's how I function. I can be given 3 weeks to do a task and only start and complete it the day of, but everything always turns out better for me that way. Have a lovely trip!

I always leave projects and papers until the last minute. It's not that I'm procrastinating, it's just when I try to do it earlier I can never think of anything. But when it's 11:00 pm the night before the paper is due, I can finish it more efficiently.
Wow, I really didn't think you were going to make it to the airport in time for your flight but it looked like you got there before they even started boarding the airplane. Nicely Done.

the same thing happened to me on the way to cologne. train was delayed 30mins and gate closing in 28mins but thankfully boarding was delayed
yesss I can totally relate with you-- I leave everything for the last minute and feel like I work better under pressure!! It's a horrible habit though
i'm the opposite to you, i hate getting to the airport with such little time to spare, i usually get there 2-3 hours before my flight leaves or else i'm a bundle of anxiety haha
I really want to see Louis with a different hairstyle but the dreads are his signature and it would also be a shame to see him without them haha
I absolutely hate waiting in airports so I always arrive later than is advised, but not too much. Maybe my latest has been like 10 before end of check-in. In general I tend to feel more comfortable with time when I'm flying from a smaller airport and early in the morning, because it isn't that crowded. I haven't missed a flight because of that, but because of me being an absolute idiot with time zones. That one time Air France actually didn't mind to put me on the next plane, but because there were no seats in economy, I actually ended up in first-class :D Didn't pay extra, jsyk! And I know what it feels like to be stuck in a bus leading you to a plane for like 20-30 mins, one starts to wonder "Have I bought a flight ticket or a bus ticket?" :D
I live in Abudhabi!.. All of the people that I watch on TH-cam are in UK or US It's kinda weird to realise that the same person I watch on TH-cam is like 2 hours away from me. I really wish I could see you someday. :)

I some how knew Louis was going to make the flight "my pure intuition". There is really such a thing as karma. I believe you being such a great person, always staying positive and wanting to help others leaves room for you to have such luck in theses situations. I'm the same way work "well under pressure and leaving things to the last minute", thou they say its not necessarily a good trait. Keep up the good work Louis;-)
Louis you almost miss every flight you go on!!!!
Watching the start of this vlog made me panic so much... when Louis said he had an hour to go before he had to leave to go to the airport and he was only on his way to get breakfast I was like "whaaaaaat nooooooo!"
The exact same thing happened to me at dubai airport when boarding the flight! it was like the bus driver was giving us a tour of the whole airport and emirate's planes! :P
I stayed in la Palma it was AMAZING !!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a great time :)
this reminds me of the time my flight was delayed and i landed SO CLOSE to my connecting flight's departure and ran like mad all the way across the airport to catch it. then security pulled me aside b/c i looked all frantic and out of breath hahaha i did JUST make it onto the flight tho :) i can see how that penny board comes in sooo useful

Dude when you go to Cape Town, you need to check out Mama Africa, I went there when I visited South Africa in April! The food is good and the entertainment is even better!
Hey louis do you have any advice on getting cheap flight? I've been looking at kayak and it has been useful, I want to start traveling and do some vlogging on the trips :) any advice?
The best advice I could give you is to NOT just vlog and do what everyone else does. its too ordinary. You have to come up with an Extraordinary idea and then start video taping. No one wants to watch the same old ordinary daily vlog where you do ordinary things. BE extraordinary. TimesWithTyler Also if you're looking for cheap flights, apparently on Tuesday at 3 pm is when the airlines release deals... I found cheap deals like this before.

TimesWithTyler Cooolio! Glad to help. My channel also has some advice for travelers... My thing is find a way to make money while you travel. Easier said than done, but it is possible.

Awesome, glad you caught the plane. Does anyone know if Louis got his laptop back that he lost on the flight (I think from Shanghai) or did he have to get a new one? 10,000 minutes to upload a video, ha ha ha ha, that's insane!
Yeh he got it back, the airline found it and e collected it from the airport :)
