Today was my last day setting up my classroom before surgery!
I didn't get everything done but THAT'S OK! Your classroom doesn't need to be done by the first day or week of school. Remember that!

Question ⁉️ Do you have hall pases/ office passes/ nurse passes etc for 1st grade?? If so I have an idea 💡 the space next to the door leading out into your hallway, not the one behind your teacher desk area but the other one. It looks a little empty to me. So my idea is to use command hooks and make hall passes they you can laminate and put on lanyards and hang them next to the door. That way they're easy to grab on their way out and you can easily keep track of them. Sorry I'm not sure if 1st graders are allowed to use hall passes but if so I think that'd be an excellent space to hang them. Hope you have an amazing year and I hope you recover quickly. 💕

Idea 💡! Do you always use book boxes that are that size? You can have someone in your family make you a custom holder for them. Each one can go in a slot with maybe a couple extra slots. Then you can put those bins of books on top of it. Just an idea!
