I'm working on it! The props in Akane's room are so specific, I'm having to make all of them from scratch, so it's a slow process. It's coming along though!
I can't believe this just found this. I saw the part with Akanes room. And the pitcher fram that's face down. I know without a doubt which pitcher it is with out having to look. This is such a joy to see thank you.

Yes, yes it does haha. Hmm it’s hard for me to summarize just in a TH-cam comment but it’s basically a reimagined Ranma 1/2 in the style of an adult drama. It’s called Metamorphosis (by Goatofgehenna).. I put a lot of heart and soul into it but it is quite long. Basically, although I love Ranma 1/2 for the slapstick comedy it is I always wondered what it might be like if the concepts were applied to a more serious tone of genre.
This is so awesome ranma 1/2 is like in my top ten of favorite anime and it always so cool seeing people doing stuff like this also mousse and shampoo need to end up together if we ever get a new season of ranma1/2
This is better than the live action! So love it, but you forgot the backdoor, a curved path to the left of the dojo, leading to a door in the outer wall.
This is really cool! are these all unreal engine assets? It looks fantastic! I used to make Ranma character 3d models, and the dojo once in blender, but decided I should improve my 2d art fundamentals first, to make my own model sheets to work from. If I remember right, how they show the inside of the house doesn't quite mesh with the outside. I don't remember the specifics but I remember trying and mostly failing to creatively distort the 2nd floor to fit into the house and line up right. excited to check out the file!
Thanks, I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think! A lot of it is made from assets from the unreal marketplace as I've been building it out. It doesn't make much sense to make custom assets and then put them into the scene only to discover that they are the wrong shape or look or something like that. Now that the layout is established I'm going through and replacing most assets with ones I've made myself that are a little more accurate. As for the second floor, yeah, it's not possible. You may notice that the stairs in my scene take a turn, but the stairs in the anime are completely straight. It was really frustrating making that change, but the second floor just cannot work with a straight staircase. It was either have the bend, or make the front wall of the first floor 3 feet thick, the back wall of the second floor 3 feet thick, the upstairs hallway about 10 feet wide, and Akane's room hang out over open air. I think I made the right call. :P
Oh, I wish, but that would be A HUGE undertaking. Though I suppose 90% of it would be copy paste if I restricted movement to the areas focused on in the story.... But that's not in the plans for the foreseeable future.
Question: was Akane's dad a millionaire? I never saw him working, how could he have such a beautiful house and maintain 3 daughters and 2 guesses (plus occasional visitors) without working??
The house is supposed to be very old, so I always figured that it was just past down in the family, fully owned. Also while it's never really shown, I always got the impression that Soun Tendo was actually still teaching martial arts in the dojo. If I recall, there was an episode where they did a big push to get more students to join up, which gets ruined by Kodachi.
I'm not planning on it, I'm doing this as a solo fan project to improve my skills with Unreal engine, so I don't want to use a marketplace. I'm planning on just uploading builds to the public as I go, so please enjoy!
