I am a Chinese and I very much dislike the practice of burning incense papers, giant joss sticks,that pollute the air and send the ashes all over into my house. But of cos I don't confront others for their practice which may infringe on my own well-being. Having said that, pls know that some cultural or religious practices really annoys people who do not practice the same, even though they do not say it aloud.
Twice a week is hard to believe. I’m experiencing it twice a day. My wife is pissing me off about it. As much as consideration is important if you live in community there is a balance to this. I like to request it to be lesser but there is no right or wrong to this, merely being considerate. Both ends to do so. It’s hard to call out the Chinese lady for being harsh. She is also at a peak of boiling from the sound and incense which is done twice a day. We are working from home after all now so it’s difficult to ignore.
