- I play this beautifull piece, originally written for harpsichord, by François Couperin: Les Baricades Mistérieuses with my Homemade Pipe Organ in my living room.
In the recording I add a bit of digital reverb to compensate for the small size of the room, no other effects have been added, neither compressors nor equalizers. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
The piece gains a special, wistful, almost haunting quality by playing on an organ, a homebuilt organ no less.
Thanks for your comment!
You should make a grandorgue or hauptwerk sampleset of this instrument. Is so gorgeous
Happy holidays to everyone with this reinterpretation of this piece by Couperin for harpsichord, played with my pipe organ. See you in January!
Buone feste a tutti con questa rivisitazione di questo pezzo di Couperin per Clavicembalo, suonata con il mio organo a canne. Ci vediamo a Gennaio!
beautiful tune and wonderful soft tone from this instrument - loving the manuals and just watched a vid of your process for these. Thanks for posting.
Thanks!
I love this performance very much and play it often. I very much appreciate its entirety.
Beautiful as always! A relaxing piece perfect as a background for this holiday season.
Merry Christmas to you and to all of you who see this video and follow this channel! Now I'm going to drink milk and cookies in front of the fireplace in fluffy pajamas full of reindeer!
Thank you bbb!
👍🎹.
Another fantastic composition and transposition from a composer for whom I have no prior awareness. I'll be running up the view count as I have on many of your priors. Thank you! Buon Natale!
Yes, another great composer of the Baroque period. Thanks again
Meraviglioso. Buon Natale a tutti!
Grazie!

Yes! Thank You Sir!
Очень красивый тихий тёмный тон органа.🎹👍🙌🕯
So very beautiful ! I actually prefer this great piece played on this small organ than on the harpsichord !
Thank You!
Thanks!
Thanks a lot Ralph!
Buon Natale! ⛄🌟🎄
I'm watching your channel from Belarus 🌍🎶
Wow! Thanks
Wonderful ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thanks!
I like the way at the end of the Couplet you delay the return of the bass B-flat. I've never heard that before. It makes the return stronger, I think.
Thank you, yes it is actually my interpretation, playing it with the organ I wanted to 'hold' some notes.
so good!
Thank You!
Best wishes to you and your family for the holiday season, and here’s to a happy, healthy and peaceful new year ❤
Thank You rod!
you are great!
Thank You!
(神秘の防壁)😌・・・・メリー・クリスマス!☃
Anche a te, grazie!
Fits very well to this instrument.
Thank You!
Very nice. Happy Christmas, Gianmaria!
Thank You jgb!
So pretty. This sounds like the traditional A=432 tuning standard, not the A=440 is that right?
Thanks. Actually the organ diapason is A @450hz
@@nippocast A=450 ! Interesting choice. I know there were numerous tuning standards years ago before today's A=440. Here in the US, A=432 was considered "concert pitch" before 1930. A=450 seems even more obscure. Why did you choose it? Are there a lot of A-450 instruments where you live that you would want to perform or record with?
the tuning at 450 hz is not desired but forced due to the metal pipes that I bought used which were tuned to that frequency, they are from 19th century England and that tuning fork was common . Consequently I had to adapt the wooden ones too
@@nippocast Oh yes. . . honoring the original pipes. . . Now I understand what you were dealing with. The age of the pipes makes them more precious. You are preserving the work of the artisans who built those pipes more than a century ago. Now I see the love you put in to it, and in so doing, you have created a more unique and beautiful instrument. I am glad we had this conversation. I have gained an even deeper respect for your work.
