I think it's interesting you are mostly choosing moments when the house has been most affected by the chaos of the twin storms of Delia and Beetlejuice

I absolutely love the bathroom, I'm obsessed with black and red it's one of my favourite colour combinations. I'm glad you got to use some brown those stairs are amazing.
I can see that bathtub appearing in a random room, that would so be a Delia thing to do.

I suggest making the bathroom window similar to the blue dining room resin window.
Also maybe use the same cow print from the dining room chairs on the floor mats.
Interesting thought about the window... I was hoping to be able to see through it but perhaps I can make something that still has glass block plus a pane of glass. We shall see!
I love that you went with such bold choices! I imagine Delia wasn't happy unless her stylist choices were offensive to some 😆
I love how you're utilizing areas so there's no unused space, like the garage in the foundation and the little cubby under the stairs.

Both spaces are just brilliant! It's amazing how much detail can be packed into a tiny space. I absolutely love every detail in both areas. Thanks for the additional tip for tape + glue! I'll be trying that out.

Wow, the bathroom turned out awesome!! I love the red and it's so shiny. I'll have to look for some of that spray glaze. The staircase is my favorite. I love hidden areas!
The Triple-Thick Spray is one of my favorites to get a really high gloss shine! It dries incredibly fast as well so I never have to worry about any dust getting stuck in it! Highly suggest!

I freakn love the bathroom and stairway. Lol I had one of those giant windows in my last bathroom. 😂And I constantly thought, "Are we sure no one can see through this.. Can anyone see me?" It freaked me out! The stairway is my fav space so far. So well done, my friend!! ❤️🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

For the stairwell, maybe look into ripping some pieces of newspaper to uncover the clapboard that wouldn't have been insulated, just finish boards for the walls. Maybe with some "insulation" look or great foam kind of peaking out that most don't look or see because it's an attic the Maitlands hadn't been able to reno before the dog did em dirty.

This is awesome! Love it so much. As a tip, red does better over a white or white-based color. I usually prime with a fuschia. It makes the red look much more even.
Wow, the contrast between the glossy stylish Burton-y bathroom and the newspaper staircase, both charming in their own ways. I really like the wood and newspaper backdrop. It seems like it'd be very cool for miniature photography.
Thank you! This whole 2nd floor is going to be a huge contrast and I am excited about it. Delia had full control of the 1st floor but the 2nd and 3rd have a bit more Maitland charm ;)
OK I’m addicted! I’ve watched all the Beetlejuice videos from the beginning, so now I’m waiting with bated breath for the rest of the house. Or maybe I’ll just have to go back to the start and repeat. And maybe rewatch the Captain’s Quarters… So no pressure but I may have to build my own miniatures. The craftsmanship and the ideas are fantastic. You are a real inspiration.

Why not color or dye (with tea?) the newspaper before use?
If you need a quick change-of-pace project, consider Mr. Roger's house set! His weird-looking coffee table may be too tough for even you, though... In early years a door led from the kitchen, behind Picture Picture, presumably to the back door and upstairs- a rarely seen office and bathroom with green fittings!
Tea-dying the paper is a good idea but it would have made it a bit more wrinkly and possible harder to lay flat. But I could have made for some fun texture too! I watched Mr. Rogers all the time as a kid. That mini set always intrigued me!

I think the spray paint gives off like a semi-translucent effect, almost like a ceramic glace where you can see a hint of the clay colour under, so this is perfect to me. I much prefer this over a completely uniform, plastic’y look.

This is soooo cute!! I would put a plant on the top of the mirror, a plant that hangs -like a String of Pearls, or a Philodendron!

Might I suggest a old wood door to the office and a ultra modern horizontal glass panel door into the bedroom from the bathroom.
But please, let's have the glass panels be frosted.
