This man fought very hard for his community and once told me that he was trying very hard to come to an agreement with the council on Belger problems, but never did. He said all he ever wanted to do in his retirement was to paint and write up Belger's history but because of the council's ignorance, it was never possible. However, his determination did achieve much for his community and his likes will be dearly missed.
