There is a secret ending for swarm as well where you would ascend AS the swarm, after devouring the realm of both baphomet and deskari. I don't think you can even call it chaotic evil at this point. This is more like a natural disaster.
Yeah entire act 5 felt like this for a swarm. I would defeat demon armies with insects and undead just to see regular message how crusaders won and are setting up camp. Swarm doesn't have outposts so that's not what was happening.

I guess you would have to mix it with ascension ending and have Areelu summon them. I dont think there is any other way for get Bapho to come. As for Deskari I have no idea why he came either. He makes it sound like I summoned him somehow
@@MrVargeth I think it's because you're not JUST the swarm-that-walks anymore, you are the very concept of endless hunger and predation - basically what deskari dreams he could be, and despite all his arrogance and bragging about how he's the usher of the end-times and all that, it's pretty clear you're quite a bit stronger than he is. Heck, isn't the commander basically doing this all solo now that he's basically a living swarm? So there's no reason to assume he isn't whereas in other paths, it could be argued that the commander had help with his companions. So deskari most likely thought it prudent to do away with the threat as soon as possible before they can consolidate their power and grow so strong that nothing can stop them - the fact that this "imitator" also claimed that they'll eat him rather the other way around also contributing since demons are prideful as fuck. Now just imagine what the commander could do if he ascended to godhood? He'll practically become rovagug in all but name, and maybe even surmount him once he's free, after all, the gods are only able to seal him away thanks to the power they derive from mortal worship and with the commander likely feasting on thousands of mortals per day, eventually the seal will loosen and who's to say that the commander won't eat him as well what with their track record of beating seemingly impossible odds even whilst evil?

@@MrVargeth Not surprised, I have encountered 4 game breaking bugs, requiring me to start hours and hours on progress just to progress through the main story. This game definitely needs more bug fixing
@@magmos6346 meh. It kinda irks me that noone ever has a nice monster path. Maybe this one time the person transforming into the scary thing did not become evil... If I ever get a group for any tabletop game together again I'll make a campaign where all the Angels went mad with power and you team up with at least one Lich and like.. a black Dragon or something, to save the world and they are gonna be the nicest people ever! @@Hinguckah Its because the mythic paths are alignment locked. You can't be a nice demon, or an evil angel, heck a chaotic Aeon is off the table as is a lawful trickster.
They really missed their chance to have the True Swarm ending where all the story stills mention the swarm, the bugs now eat more than just sentience but also matter and molecules, swarms in Hell, Heaven, Abyss, Elysium, bugs everywhere, etc etc. The swarm reaches Pharasma, reaches the Void and Aeons, absolutely everything
It works relatively well before Act 5 (i.e. for the stuff included in the Beta), but since there were no beta testers for Acts 5 and 6 they are pretty broken
Imagine ending the game as more evil than the actual villains themselves. This is like sending Hitler and all the other Nazis to the concentration camp AND every other race ethnicity too eventually burning everyone but yourself. And after you complete the game it says "congratulations you evil fuck". I personnaly wont play the swarm but it sure is a great invention for the gaming experience. I dont know a game, where your actions have more consequences than WOTR

There is a general god ending I've read about but haven't seen that you can do with multiple mythic types.
Its just the normal ascension ending if u cheat in the research etudes
