Pretty happy with our room choice, it's one of only 2 oceanview cabins on deck 15. It's classed as obstructed, however the obstruction is only a blue tint over the windows. Have had people confirm who have stayed in that room that it's not actually interconnected anymore.
Choosing cabins may cost more, but I feel its worth it for the chance of a good nights sleep. We booked cabin A635 on Sea Princess, deck 11 for our first ever cruise. Do you have anything to say about that location? Its a balcony cabin so I know I'm going to love it! Never been on a ship but I grew up on boats and love the sea. Thank you for these great videos!

From what I remember, it’s not a particular busy area, so you should be ok in terms of potential noise from above. I think it’s a good spot! Right near the stairs and lifts too.

On Pacific adventure, what are the cabins with balcony at very front of deck 10 like? Room 10102. Watched your videos, but never talk about the pool on the front bonnet of ship is used for? Is the front area for staff and captain live?
They’re like any other balcony cabin onboard, but have a slightly deeper balcony which gives you more outdoor space. The pool out front on the bow is a crew pool, and that whole outdoor area is a crew space.
Hi mate. I just booked 15702 and 15704 for 2 adults and 2 kids (interconnecting rooms). There was very little choice but liked that these two oceanview rooms were near the larger suites. My thinking was...it can't be bad if the nice rooms are there 😊 What do U know about these rooms? Any good? Thanks (Ship is Pacific Adventure).
Hey mate. This is a unique location onboard! As you pointed out, there are some big suites located up there. It's a fairly quiet area, so it's a good spot from that perspective. Plus, it's so close to all of the upper deck areas like the pools which are just a short walk away, and The Pantry buffet is just a deck or so down. The only potential downside is the distance from the lower level restaurants and bars etc around decks 6 and 7, but I think you'll still enjoy it.
Have you cruised yet? Both 15702 and 15704 have full sized windows instead of portholes or a smaller window like the other oceanview rooms. They also appear to be bigger size wise by the looks of it.

It looks like some interior rooms in the same category are different sizes, for example 12515 looks larger than 12521 right next door in the same category. Is this actually the case, or just an inaccuracy in the drawing?
It can be the case, because of different room orientations and layouts. Cruise lines don’t generally offer size data about specific rooms, but rather the whole category. I find that googling the specific cabin number and ship name will often show you tours or descriptions/reviews on sites like cruise critic which might give you more detail about them. Happy cruising!
This is awesome I selected the right cabin on deck 11 of the Encounter as that’s up the front which means I get to walk off the calories of my cocktails and 2 breakfasts 🤣

@@traceychannells2272 looks good, it will provide very quick and easy access to The Pantry, as well as the Oasis. Plus it’s just a short walk to the indoor family pool zone and the main pool. The room itself is a standard balcony cabin, so nothing unusual to report.
