I found all the included food options great. Have been on over 15 cruises with p&o, carnival, Cunard and Princess and for what you pay it is far cheaper than any other hoilday. I do agree paying for pizza is my only complaint. I tend to go with Princess as it is all included. I really love the Encounter, espcially the hotel bar. Great vibe. I didn't fond the lack of entertainment. In fact there was too much to do - I did love the pianist on our last one Spence Chester and this made our cruise. I encourage everyone to try a cruise once. You never know till you go if you like it or not.

Great video and after recently coming off a cruise I would whole heartedly agree. Panty after the first couple days was very boring and I really couldn't eat it again, lucky we had other dining lined up which was great... and yes the staff do make that cruise what it is, otherwise it would be in alot of trouble to be honest. 2.5 out of 5 is fair.

    Staff
Edge activites for kids (if you manage to book and the weather doesn't cancel them)
    Slides
    Pools
    comfy beds and pillows
    dislikes:
room (not a comparible balcony to RCC)
inclusions (felt like I had to pay a lot more to do things onboard P&O compared to other cruise lines where more is included)
smell and constant blockages on deck 12
food (not enough rotating options in the buffet)

Trattorio only sells pizza which sucks cause it was more expensive but the same as the pizza on the deck which was cheaper

we cruised on pacific adventure last november, the ship was beautiful, but we had the same issue with the sewage smell in the same area and also in our cabin, very strange that both ships have this issue.

I've been seeing some groups on facebook posts saying the same thing.

We are away on the Pacific Encounter in June , it’s our 2nd P&O cruise , we were on the Adventure last time and looking at your video the 2 ships look the same .
We liked the ship but the food was the biggest disappointment for us , I am not into ethnic foods at all , and most days I was left eating just chips , and my husbands biggest disappointment was they don’t have Corona 😢 he was gutted lol
Our very first cruise was on The Quantum of the Seas Royal Caribbean .
    This ship was aammmazing !
It was like a mini town and the food was just outstanding !

the adventure doesnt have a pool at the sunset bar, just a hot tub, which wasnt opened on our sailing. neither were the speciality dining restaurants.

That's annoying. Was that when cruising was just restarting?

it was november last year, the pacific adventure had only done i think 1 or 2 cruises before ours. cruising started here 31 march last year and we went on that cruise, it was our very first cruise, so was very excited to be doing our first one on such a monumental cruise :)@@cruiseyseadays

Agreed. Compared to Princess the entertainment at night onboard was abysmal. There are no large shows which is disappointing. There were not even many decent film in the theatre. There could have been.

I loved it but was ripped off with a few purchases. They said was a certain price but charged extra and claimed as US dollar.

Doesn't sound right. The pacific encounter should be Australian dollars

@@cruiseyseadaysthat’s what I thought more so we did brisbane to Airlie beach.
I bought a cologne for $49.95 when went to pay the lady said it’s 59.95, I questioned it and she said it’s US dollars?. I was like what?.
It also happened with cheese board player purchase as well.

Isn't the average age on Princess Cruises about 70?

The entire ship is just designed to screw money out of you. Won’t be using P&O again.

They are all the same, Royal Carribean included. They are there to make money. However, you do not have to conform.
