Learning the strategy for the ending of Rooftops turned it from one of the hardest special stages to... well, I wouldn't say easiest, but I did beat it first try upon replaying the cup and got an S Rank.
@@yellowwtangg The final segment of Rooftops actually very easy, IF you know what to do. Just before the gap, you need to make sure you're going down the slope RIGHT NEXT to the edge of the platform, and if aligned correctly, you'll stay on solid ground during and after the gap. It's worked perfectly for me every single time, and significantly lowers the stage's difficulty. Try it out for yourself and see if that statement you made still holds true or not.
I would LOVE to see these levels in base SRB2 as an extra challenge. Imagine that. Jumping from place to place, pulling off crazy stunts, chasing down the same exact claws in order to attack them with methods depending on what character you choose. And for the insanely fast characters, brand new levels specifically designed around that speed, like an Act 2 level from Generations (or Act 1, in the case of Shadow Gens), with the claw and emerald moving faster to accommodate for the higher speeds.

Not sure if you've found it since posting this, but if you haven't, there is a mod that adds a health bar on the SRB2 forums, if that helps! ^^
