Great Job!Wish we had disposable tubes back when I was building rotary machines. We used a felt tip pens as a tube. My cam was a shirt button. Coat hanger for needle bar. And sharps sewing needles. Most of my work was fine line. Oh, and a bent spoon for a frame ,same as you.
Where did you get that motor? I’ve just started grabbing whatever I can out of printers and DVD players but haven’t seen anything with a can set up like that. Great vid btw!
I'm an old head here 41. And we used to make these tattoo machines. The best motors always came from a VCR or an old Stereo tape deck. That's if you can still find them around. But you can go on Amazon and get a 12 volt hobby motor (10,000 RPM). Always make sure you get 12 volt. They run the best. 3 and 6 are way too fast, and get too hot , and 18 is too powerful. 12 volt is just right.
DC motor 5V or what ever you want but i suggest the 5V Soldering Iron Lead for solding wires or un used chargers(red+green : black+white) Disposable grip with tip. disposable tattoo needle 3rl 5rl and more depends on your disposable grip. spoon or pork. and if ur creating machine.... make sure even it's only a DIY make sure you sanitize all...
I didn’t watch this video. But.... if u order tubes or needles online, why not drop a few more dollars and get an actual tattoo machine. You also need some clips, power supply and a foot pedal. Transfer paper, stencil stuff, ect. Don’t you dare free hand if you are not experienced on human skin. Inks? Don’t skimp on this. It’s going to be in your skin forever. Get quality ink. Search amazon. You can get a complete kit for like 40-50 bucks. (Although they are trash) it gives you a good practice platform if you intend on tattooing.
bro im all about self tattooing and using your own equipment but like don't use that, look at the needle rattle around in there, you can really mess someone up. Figure out a way to make the needle be more consistent and not hit like a chainsaw
