Being frozen when unhooked by a cheater is a bug that happens with the new anti-cheat stuff. In the patch notes for the last update they added a way to detect when someone was actively hacking/cheating in a match and part of it was that it freezes points of the match to detect who the actual hacker/cheater is.
That’s literally false. I’m a promoter for the cheats. Being frozen is the cheater putting someone into “limbo” for whatever reason. It’s mostly used to eff with that person if they refused to heal you or you think they spamming pallets it’s and effing the game up or try to expose you etc.
I got a hacker who lost because I ended up bleeding them out. He then threaten to attack me when I laughed and told him he couldn’t even win with cheats.

Most likely you got an innocent person or you got someone who went into the match with the cheater but didn’t have the cheats themselves.

Felt so bad for a dregde i was agenst, there was a dewight hacker that moved fast as hell and anytime dredge got me down and picked up i was emediatly freed, killer gave up and hung out in a saloon corrner, brough them stuff from chests and died next to them so theyd at least get some points.
So very nice of you to do that for them. So many players sees an "us versus them" mentality and group all killers or survivors as the same. We need to remember that there are real people playing behind those killers and survivors, and they don't deserve that crap some others do.

Just played against a cheating Billy today who was turning as if he had double turning rate addons which is normal. And he was taking curves way too early(I could tell as a Billy main) and even after the nearly .75 seconds had passed after he sprinted he could still turn for another few seconds as if he still had the boosted turning rate from the initial turning rate boost. And he was hitting through wall by about 5 feet while crouching (very unlikely) w/o having red ping thr whole game. Turns out he had no turning rate add-ons which gave it away by far and very easy to spot the cheats. P100 as well and seemingly predicted locations of everyone w/o any aura perks.
I had a cheater the other day we were the last 2 survivors and as soon as they got downed they started teleporting. They were so caught up taunting the killer they bled out and we just taunted them back
I had a cheater on my survivor team a couple days ago, I felt bad for the killer. At first I thought the survivor was just really good, especially when our first interaction together was them moonwalking. But i got downed and Nea got chased near me and they had like a perma-sprint burst or something. It especially became apparent when they had that super crawl speed. But in the end, we all escaped and me and hopefully the Myers reported them but knowing dbd, they’re probably still out there.

Nah we should reveal the names of these people and have their stream be known. Public cheaters are public and we should be *obligated* to get these players banned, it isn't being nice or considerate to censor out and protect the wellbeing of those who wouldn't ever do the same for us. If they feel brave enough to do this on stream then they understand the consequences.

I encountered my first cheater today. I couldn’t tell if it was the killer or survivor. The killer kept hitting the survivor who was on the ground already, but then would get frozen trying to hook the survivor. The killer ended up dc’ing. Both were on console.
surprisingly enough, I've never encountered a hacker in dbd myself, which is kinda upsetting cuz I would love to record it for content, but also a good thing cuz I wouldn't want them to ruin any matches I have, lol that poor billy tho, I bet they were so confused as to what was happening there at end game, they seemed like a nice billy, a shame they had to deal with that hacker like that.
Dude! I played against a Claudette who was a cheater the other day, she would force a decisive strike hit every time I picked her or any other survivor up, and when I got it down to just me and her (I slugged : () she just kept teleporting away across the map
I had a similar claudette the other day with a dwight (i was a survivor too) and if one of them got hooked the insta ds, teleported to the 4th survivor on hook, she insta healed, when the killer picked us up we already had 75% wiggle progression and one skillcheck and we were off the killers shoulders... i let the killer hook me in the end because ist so unfair for him
Think how good resilience is. Now just have a hack that does it when fully healed. Or one that adds 15% on gen progress’ solo. Or one to give you aura reading on gens permanently like killer has. Doesn’t have to be flying around or Insta heals. Minor tweaks would offer ridiculous advantages. I’m relatively confident subtle hacking is huge in the game. There are so many perks that cover it up to the point it be very hard to report. You’d have to know the game insanely well to catch it all the time. It’s really pathetic given how unbalanced the game is as survivor just at base level.

Right when xeno was live released and red forest offering was disabled. I had someone sent me there and I was survivor. I was on the gen in huntresses cabin minding my business thinking like wtf and how tf did we manage to get the map.. anyways about 30% of my gen is done and it randomly completed and I’m like HULLO?! Theres a ttv in my lobby and I’m like pls tell me your witnessing the tomfoolery. They ended up dying first and are spectating the Ada who is getting the cheated skill checks. I’m sure it was two ppl together as we caught the one person who was doing it and I ended up getting put into the sky. I dc immediately not wanting to be part of that and the killer was live and I’m like Ayo I have no part in this and the cheater was like Nuh Uh red forest is still playable as if it wasn’t in the patch notes on that release. I’ve seen this streamer on TikTok before he’s a bit of a peepeepoopoo head. Idk how ppl have the will to fork over money for cheats constantly and to buy new accounts like pls touch grass or something 😭
I had this guy and tinykttn in a match as well! I was playing Dredge. There was another cheater with almost 5k hours in the lobby as well. Fortunately, Sable let me kill her and they were (at least I think they were) nice to me in egc. I was mostly just watching them do a bunch of random things instead of trying to kill them.

Was able to get them banned thankfully along with others who reported them... funny how I see this video made five months ago and the incident that I unfortunately encountered was five months later
I was playing dbd yesterday with my fiance and came across a hacker. i kept pointing them out to the killer cause I had aura reading ability but anytime the killer tried to come after them they would spawn to the roof of the building or just go all over the map. this was my first encounter with a hacker. completely ruined that game for us, it's just annoying to have ppl like that
i had actually come across a hacker in one of my killer games within the last week! teleporting back and fourth, see through walls, self pickup, insta wiggle aura. very agitating to say the least. was a swf, managed to kill the hacker via bleedout. they proceeded to claim bad internet. very poor excuse as 15 people witnessed it as well. lol
I've had very few hacker encounters, but I still remember one of my firsts. I had a Claudette hacking on RPD, but I was playing nurse. I remember the hacker was obvious, but didn't prevent me from getting hooks/ going after other survivors. I got 5 stacks of devour, tp'd to Claudette from a different floor. Insta-downed with nurse's old m1 (used to be counted as a basic attack) and mori'd her on the spot. ggs

I had someone do this to me while in a match. It was a tag team. Both P100. Dropping out of the sky, moving across the map so the killer can’t grab them. When I refused to play their game and tried to let the killer get points they kept downing me and healing me and I couldn’t move. One of them was even healing me from inside the exit gate 50 feet away.
i feel bad for this billy, i had a p100 sable in my lobby who cheated when i was killer. i downed her and she got mad so she just teleported all around the map till she bleed out stalling the game so much longer then it needed to be and it was so unfun, i just wanted to go to my next game
I found out the other day while playing a match on haddonfield, that my teammate was blatantly using speed and wall hacks and I kept sandbagging him and getting him downed lmao

You mentioned that the person who was hacking streamed on TikTok already gives it away to me exactly who it is. If it's the person I'm thinking of they're an EXTREMELY toxic person, not only in the game with their cheating but how they treat people as well. If you see that person again avoid the lobby they're in entirely. They are not a good person at all.

I think I came across this person’s stream on TikTok. They were openly streaming their games while cheating and I tried reporting their live but idk if anything happened. Then they were making fun of their comments for being called out on cheating and hating on the people giving them shit for it and I was so confused
I'll be honest? If I realized there was a cheater in my game, I'd let the killer have a kill on me. I'd refuse to run out/escape, because it's not a valid win. And that's if I don't just straight up DC.
I'd rather you just finish the gens and get out. My last game that I ran into a cheater I was playing Blight and we got RPD. I was just in it for a challenge (Start chase with 8 different survivors.) I got the other 3 chases started and then saw Sable on a Gen. I wanted to just do the gen grab cause I love getting grabs. Get 2 inches behind her, and swing and hit nothing instead. In confusion I did it a second time and same thing. Then I realized "Ooohhh you're a cheater." And then just immediately stopped playing. Spent the entire rest of the match just Blight Rushing for points and ignoring everyone in the game. Cause after the Gen Sable started just teleporting in front of me every few seconds. So I knew it wouldn't really matter if I tried for anyone else. Later when I sent a report I checked their steam profile and it showed up as a bunch of random nonsense numbers instead of the name I saw in game. Tried typing the name I saw in game on the search Steam Friends and saw 19! Accounts that all show up as random nonsense numbers and letters. So This person has 19 separate accounts just to keep cheating. They probably at this point have even more accounts than they did then. Forgot the name, just know it had TikTok in it

Ive been going against hackers more recently I had a hacker teammate that made light beams randomly not the thingy but he made them appear and items kept falling out of him and 2 hacker survivors while I was Wesker, one was flying and the other kept decisive striking me just a week ago

If you confront her about the cheats she just has her community attack you and says that they are only giving out positive vibes here. I’ve ran into trollingprophet twice. The 1st time I did he played nurse when he wasn’t cheating a while back. The 2nd time was recently and just used his hacks to just do gens without being able to get hit on them surprised u got him too

I watch their videos sometimes just to know what to look out for, mostly because I've only seen a single cheater in my lifetime (a dwight that went down fast-crawled to the exit basically at deadhook). Kind of a bad thing to do considering im giving them views but i didnt know how cheats looked in dbd Oh, and another very subtle cheater was a p100 Maria who was like, using sprint burst *while* exhausted and getting very small increments of speed while running, like very tiny dashes forward? Damn BHVR. People pay money for this game, but the developer doesn’t want to use a good anti-cheat? At least do something with a speedhack and other cheats to speed up healing, repair and open gates. After all, it’s not difficult to calculate speeds that are unnatural for this game in order to immediately kick a cheater out of a match. But as long as the game has high online, these bastards won't do anything!
That's exactly why this cheater does it - exposure, and it doesn't matter to these psychos if it's hate or praise they're getting. The best way to "harm" such people is to not promote them, to talk about them without mentioning, and their ego will plummet down like an asteroid on earth, although with how people would rather be selfish with rage about it and "give them promotion" by publicly hating on them despite that obviously doing the opposite for them, makes such tasks almost impossible to do because of you. Best way to talk about it is to mention how there's freezing people and other cheats back in action and to not pinpoint it on one person, so that BHVR is aware of the problem and takes action without certain people getting exposure out of it. @@Miguel323527

The overwhelming majority of cheaters in this game are survivors. Mainly cause it’s easier to get away with it.
Nah, mainly because it's harder to hide as killer, and it's pointless on killer since you can guarantee free wins if you know what you're doing.
As killer you potentially get 4 reports per match because four people are pissed.
As a survivor you only get at most 1 report per match.

I had a similar claudette the other day with a dwight (i was a survivor too) and if one of them got hooked the insta ds, teleported to the 4th survivor on hook, she insta healed, when the killer picked us up we already had 75% wiggle progression and one skillcheck and we were off the killers shoulders... i let the killer hook me in the end because ist so unfair for him

Happened with me with a Rebecca and she wasn't even running decisive strike
That was the first cheater that you know. Imagine how many people play with cheats and nobody knows about it.

Think how good resilience is. Now just have a hack that does it when fully healed. Or one that adds 15% on gen progress’ solo. Or one to give you aura reading on gens permanently like killer has. Doesn’t have to be flying around or Insta heals. Minor tweaks would offer ridiculous advantages. I’m relatively confident subtle hacking is huge in the game. There are so many perks that cover it up to the point it be very hard to report. You’d have to know the game insanely well to catch it all the time. It’s really pathetic given how unbalanced the game is as survivor just at base level.

Right when xeno was live released and red forest offering was disabled. I had someone sent me there and I was survivor. I was on the gen in huntresses cabin minding my business thinking like wtf and how tf did we manage to get the map.. anyways about 30% of my gen is done and it randomly completed and I’m like HULLO?! Theres a ttv in my lobby and I’m like pls tell me your witnessing the tomfoolery. They ended up dying first and are spectating the Ada who is getting the cheated skill checks. I’m sure it was two ppl together as we caught the one person who was doing it and I ended up getting put into the sky. I dc immediately not wanting to be part of that and the killer was live and I’m like Ayo I have no part in this and the cheater was like Nuh Uh red forest is still playable as if it wasn’t in the patch notes on that release. I’ve seen this streamer on TikTok before he’s a bit of a peepeepoopoo head. Idk how ppl have the will to fork over money for cheats constantly and to buy new accounts like pls touch grass or something 😭
I had this guy and tinykttn in a match as well! I was playing Dredge. There was another cheater with almost 5k hours in the lobby as well. Fortunately, Sable let me kill her and they were (at least I think they were) nice to me in egc. I was mostly just watching them do a bunch of random things instead of trying to kill them.

Was able to get them banned thankfully along with others who reported them... funny how I see this video made five months ago and the incident that I unfortunately encountered was five months later

I was playing dbd yesterday with my fiance and came across a hacker. i kept pointing them out to the killer cause I had aura reading ability but anytime the killer tried to come after them they would spawn to the roof of the building or just go all over the map. this was my first encounter with a hacker. completely ruined that game for us, it's just annoying to have ppl like that

I've had very few hacker encounters, but I still remember one of my firsts. I had a Claudette hacking on RPD, but I was playing nurse. I remember the hacker was obvious, but didn't prevent me from getting hooks/ going after other survivors. I got 5 stacks of devour, tp'd to Claudette from a different floor. Insta-downed with nurse's old m1 (used to be counted as a basic attack) and mori'd her on the spot. ggs

I had someone do this to me while in a match. It was a tag team. Both P100. Dropping out of the sky, moving across the map so the killer can’t grab them. When I refused to play their game and tried to let the killer get points they kept downing me and healing me and I couldn’t move. One of them was even healing me from inside the exit gate 50 feet away.
i feel bad for this billy, i had a p100 sable in my lobby who cheated when i was killer. i downed her and she got mad so she just teleported all around the map till she bleed out stalling the game so much longer then it needed to be and it was so unfun, i just wanted to go to my next game
I found out the other day while playing a match on haddonfield, that my teammate was blatantly using speed and wall hacks and I kept sandbagging him and getting him downed lmao

I’ve actually seen like 3 people on TikTok that are live streaming and hacking it’s disgusting.
This happened to me few days ago, with a steve. He also did it to the killer and another survivor.
You mentioned that the person who was hacking streamed on TikTok already gives it away to me exactly who it is. If it's the person I'm thinking of they're an EXTREMELY toxic person, not only in the game with their cheating but how they treat people as well. If you see that person again avoid the lobby they're in entirely. They are not a good person at all.

Then they were making fun of their comments for being called out on cheating and hating on the people giving them shit for it and I was so confused
I'll be honest? If I realized there was a cheater in my game, I'd let the killer have a kill on me. I'd refuse to run out/escape, because it's not a valid win. And that's if I don't just straight up DC.
I'd rather you just finish the gens and get out. My last game that I ran into a cheater I was playing Blight and we got RPD. I was just in it for a challenge (Start chase with 8 different survivors.) I got the other 3 chases started and then saw Sable on a Gen. I wanted to just do the gen grab cause I love getting grabs. Get 2 inches behind her, and swing and hit nothing instead. In confusion I did it a second time and same thing. Then I realized "Ooohhh you're a cheater." And then just immediately stopped playing. Spent the entire rest of the match just Blight Rushing for points and ignoring everyone in the game. Cause after the Gen Sable started just teleporting in front of me every few seconds. So I knew it wouldn't really matter if I tried for anyone else. Later when I sent a report I checked their steam profile and it showed up as a bunch of random nonsense numbers instead of the name I saw in game. Tried typing the name I saw in game on the search Steam Friends and saw 19! Accounts that all show up as random nonsense numbers and letters. So This person has 19 separate accounts just to keep cheating. They probably at this point have even more accounts than they did then. Forgot the name, just know it had TikTok in it

If you confront her about the cheats she just has her community attack you and says that they are only giving out positive vibes here. She was also bragging about not getting caught and "has been doing it for months and nothing has happened yet". She still plays the Sable main with the Fog whisperer shirt.

Damn BHVR. People pay money for this game, but the developer doesn’t want to use a good anti-cheat? At least do something with a speedhack and other cheats to speed up healing, repair and open gates. After all, it’s not difficult to calculate speeds that are unnatural for this game in order to immediately kick a cheater out of a match. That's exactly why this cheater does it - exposure, and it doesn't matter to these psychos if it's hate or praise they're getting. The best way to "harm" such people is to not promote them, to talk about them without mentioning, and their ego will plummet down like an asteroid on earth, although with how people would rather be selfish with rage about it and "give them promotion" by publicly hating on them despite that obviously doing the opposite for them, makes such tasks almost impossible to do because of you. Best way to talk about it is to mention how there's freezing people and other cheats back in action and to not pinpoint it on one person, so that BHVR is aware of the problem and takes action without certain people getting exposure out of it. @@Miguel323527
