This song made me actually cry when I made it here, this was the first video game I've ever played and an especially moving one considering it took me years of grinding and experiences to make it this far. I've won a tournament when it was new, and listening to this song makes me want to throw it all away just to experience the sheer awe I experienced when I finally made it. All that shiny grinding, all those secrets, all those tournaments, all that stat searching and breeding. Sigh. Just to hear this again.
I heard a jazz remix of Sootopolis City in an art museum in Memphis a few days ago. I'm not 100% sure if it was this specific remix but it was cool to hear Pokemon music in an art museum.
