Ngl with the way yall ride you should def do your oil changes every 600 miles. You’re putting so much stress in that motor. You’re basicly doing a track day everytime you ride 😂. I change my oil after ever 2 track days

You gotta have these built to suit . You’re going way beyond GP sport bike racing , they don’t sustain redline 186mph for 5mins sometimes at 45deg angles . On and off throttle racing you will be fine, but your application is more than a race bike or drag bike , it needs to be built , tuned and clearanced for 5mins at WOT .
@@TuxedoChariot Hell no dude. He's riding at max pain for a long period of time on a stock block. I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long. Honda builds a good motor.
@@TuxedoChariot yeah but they don’t build the motor to ride pinned in top gear for minutes on end. I’m sure with minor internal mods and clearance changes it would be fine.

Consistent high rpm track riding isn’t 176mph for extend period of time it’s that at less than 5 seconds. Motors aren’t built for endurance they can be but lots of things change down to ring thickness. It’s a Honda fireblade it’s not made for 186mph for 2 min pinging the throttle. It’s due to crank sump placement. Only Yamaha & Suzuki are ment to sustain this abuse. Chris Moore explained this on one of his videos why those make great drag speed run bikes.
It can happen to any bike riding wide open for an extended period, the heat and pressure it's a time bomb running like that on any bike, sucks bro but you'll get it better than ever I'm sure
i like to belive everything happens for a reason, so who knows what could have happended later in the ride if the motor didn't blew... it does suck when our bikes go broke, but it is always not as bad as it could have been.... wish you all the luck with the repairs and all

All hail the king WillKidHill 🙏🏼 would love for you to come back and show you the twisties my home state has to offer 👀 ***edit*** Sounds like it’s choking, big sad. Could be valvetrain, potential spun bearing, or maybe fuel related 😞 if it is a spun bearing tbh as a suggestion, run an additional half quart or quart of oil. It’s a trick we do for drifting or off-roading to accommodate for the G’s pulled while drifting or slants while offroading, it’ll help mitigate cavitation. Just my .02 cents
Stopped group rides in AZ because every week someone was getting killed on a bike. That herd mentality will encourage you to push the limits increasingly. Most MotoGP racers don’t ride off of track due to their contract and safety.
Dude, the way you ride, I'm actually surprised it lasted that long. Honestly. Shit, I'd be happy. haha. Anyhow, love the vids. It's funny watching cus every now and then, (I am a bit older than you), I get paranoid on those white stripes. My mind goes down the rabbit hole and I always think my bike is going to wash out once I cross over those lines. I know, dumb. But, I usually think about it.
Been there bro. You know you're riding hard as hell if you are blowing up hondas. I don't wanna be the one to say it but do you think doing more wheelies can contribute to it?
Depends on where the oil pickup is in the oil pan....if its in the front, then you can starve the motor of oil because when you are up at 12 oclock the oil pump cant get any oil to the top of the motor because its all in the back of the oil pan....(think of a straw being in a glass, but you tilt the glass so all the liquid is onthe opposite side of the straw...this is same thing). R1's have this same exact issue as well.
Get an oil cooler, and when you're running in hot weather (phoenix in the summer), go up an oil weight from like 10w-40 to 10w-50. Engine heat is the devil and will cause oil to boil at a specific temp along with thinning out. This causes coking and will destroy engines. Idk about Honda but Kawasaki says to run thicker oil if it's super hot or thinner oil if you're riding in the winter. The lower 91 octane fuel isn't great to run if you're on a 93 tune just for engine timing, but a hot engine will start to knock before a cool engine. Even on my tiny zx-4rr the oil temps stock get way too hot when you ride it hard and that thing is nowhere near a 1k. On top of this, assuming the normal oil change interval is 5k, take an oil sample every 500 miles and send it to blackstone. Will cost some money but you can see how you're oil is breaking down and will let you know when to change it in the future. Riding like this I'd say 1,500 mile oil changes at the high end (just do to temp and wear).
I used to live in Arizona man and I miss it out there hella bad! Sounded like it was trying to start. Could be something like a fuel pump, but you never know. Could also be something is seizing and causing a lot of drag inside the engine.

Be interesting to see what it was....as you didnt set off any sensors on the dash.....could be a spun bearing, could be failed fuel pump, could be bad coil or electrical.....I saw lot of instagram posts about sand getting in the airboxes....those aftermarket air filters not being fine enough....hope its something simple vice a full motor rebuild. Didnt sound like you had anything major break in the motor itself, more like starvation of fuel....but its hard to tell....(oil looked clean, no coolant in it and not over filled or under filled which is a good sign). REALLY interested to see what it was....granted you guys run these things hard, but curious to see what the failure is. I am surprised more guys dont have issues considering how much time the bikes are basically upright...especially Alex bike!!
