I am an animal lover and have been feeding wild animals, birds which visits my home for years, everyday these birds squirrels wake me up with their calls and I feed them even my family helps me (they serve breakfast and I serve lunch), afterwards in the evening they leave....I haven't ever thought of cutting the wings of the parrots or capturing a hummingbird or other species whose name I can't say in english.

In captivity, with proper stimulation and care they live almost twice as long as in the wild. The thing that must be noted is that not everyone is capable of giving PROPER CARE! The bird in the video..is indeed well cared for and clearly mentally stimulated..and having a good life. Keep it up Harley's mom....she will be with you for 50 - 75 years!
