This podcast can be considered an extension to last amazing podcasts with Pakistan's prominent names such as Junaid Akram and Naeem Sikandar. We have talked about several influences that have made Usama Khan what he is today. The discussion starts with some principles held dearly by the famous @GaryVee as we both have been inspired by his legacy and content. We discussed how attention works and how it's been working in this era of mass information and data because everybody is fighting for the due share. We had in-depth discussions about the attitudes and behaviors that make people dominate any arena in the market.
We had a candid exchange of dialogues about Usama's views on course selling and as we call it "manjan-selling" in our local lingo. He's been found on many platforms stating that people should not go for paid courses when the fundamentals can easily be learnt from the authentic brands and their own platforms without paying a single penny. I asked many questions about our local approach to the discipline of sales and branding and how they both differ from each other as well as complement each other.
We also focused on the importance of mentoring when a person is going through professional development. We delved deeper into the aspects of branding and personal branding since both work for long term development and play huge role in the making of phenomenal organizations and personal brands. For the sake of E-Commerce, we threw light upon best practices that can make commendable difference in consumer experience just by ensuring that stakeholders take full ownership of brands' actions and inactions. This led to many other areas that you would definitely enjoy listening to.
E-Commerce has to work with ideal work ethic, so we also had a word upon entrepreneurial learnings from his multiple tenures spanning across different corporate avenues. There was dialogue in relation to influencer marketing, decision making, trends, importance of asking questions and treating customers as most treasured assets. We ended up sharing our insights and observations regarding youth and how they should be helped to reach certain heights in future. We discussed parental practices that could be made normal with the advent of futuristic technologies.
All in all, whole podcast is full of amazing learnings and insights that are surely going to help you think and rethink your approach to businesses whether you are engaged in transactions online or offline.
