UPGRADING The S4's Suspension! | Sway Bar and Subframe Reinforcement

- Hey Everyone, It is finally time to get the s4 aligned and then make some major improvements in the handling department. It is already turning out to be a super fun car, and these modifications make it even better. I picked up a 034 motorsports rear sway bar, and their rear subframe reinforcement kit. Along the way I also opted to buy Meyle sway bar end links. I can't speak highly enough of all of these parts.

Tbh these upgrades are awesome, but the fact that they are even upgrades is pretty ridiculous. This was a very expensive very high performance car when new. It’s pretty ridiculous it left the factory with such a flimsy rear end

Great videos! I'm looking to pick up the rear sway bar and reinforcement for my daily budget B5 A4. Did you end up getting the 034 end links at all? The research I've done on preload is making me overthink this and it is a lot more appealing to me to buy the end links you suggested (price wise). The bar and reinforcement is on sale right now too! Any advice would be helpful!
My baby has been apart for 3 years. I just took on more than I can handle but these videos are giving me some courage to finish the stage 3. AMAZING VIDEOS!!!!
Definitely the hard route for stubborn tasks there dude. Definitely hit all older bolts with a penetrant first allowing some soak in time and then use an appropriate rattle gun to work its magic with much reduced chance of snapping the shank while trying to brute strength with leverage on hand tools.

Happy you picked up a B5 S4 because if your ownership experience is anything like mine, it's a huge learning experience and makes you appreciate the car much more.
If I had any recommendations on build direction - Keep the stock bottom end & top end and just throw some K04s / supporting mods on it, maybe some Ethanol too :).
I've run the same setup for 21k miles @ 430whp and I've beat the living hell out of it.

I also think going for ko4s on the stock block with supporting mods is a fantastic idea! That is already a crazy amount of power and I am sure it will be scary fast. I have been leaning that direction, but it's reassuring to hear that it's worth it!

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this previously, but your diverter valves are on the wrong way. In the current position they can be pushed open by boost pressure. Great content though, keep up the good work :)

you should upgrade turbos and clutch, contact andrew medina aka sep auto for some k04 and rs4 clutch deal pack and send it to the money lol

Great work on the S4. Any updates on the TT ?
Since the S4 is finally drivable again I'll be moving into alternating TT and S4 videos. I've got a backlog of mods for the both of them to put on. :) This upcoming week I've got a pretty substantial upgrade for the TT. It's going to change both cosmetics and performance. It all has to do with studded tires no longer being road legal at the end of the month where I live due to it warming up (; I've also got more silicone parts, fmic kit, brakes, and coilovers on the bucket list for the next few tt Videos. Once those are on, I will source myself a bigger turbo:) Thanks for the support by the way!
There is also a road course and autocross nearby that I want to use to benchmark some of the more major mods we do this summer.
