Looks interesting. As this is a city builder, I'm not going to expect too much from the little animations the Gladiator's do but it would be fun if you saw them hawking products before and after matches. Since they actually did that.
Thank you. It will be just this animation. I had to hire somebody to created the gladiators accurate and hire somebody else to do the animation. It's just way too expensive for me to have more animation. I just can't afford it :(
the passion is shown very well in the details, everwhere is something to see and discover. realy awesome can`t wait for the new update and specially the relase annouchement :)
Thank you Shadow. You are an amazing supporter. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time to watch DevRows streams. But after the release, I will stick there :)
Another video, another wow. Keep up the great work. I don't know if we'll be able to hear people talking when zooming in, but it would be cool if we could hear some actual latin! Imagine that (Google translate helps..) !!
Also habe ich alles heller gemacht etc. Feedbacks von der Community haben mir stark geholfen, alles zu optimieren :)
@@PaxAugustaGame Id say its using the most high resolution images while optimizing and avoid over relying on or using low grade tools of DLSS. Oh wow. Consider making an export tool - I think this would explode if someone could use import cities in Tabletop Simulator for DnD or Pathfinder for example.
thanks :) please don't expect to much. it's just that animation. But yes, you can zoom in as I did in the video. All footages are in game. Only the camera movement is made by an external tool. But in the upper right part you have the cinematic mode :)

Danke vielmals Thorsten. So ein liebes feedback. Es wird kein AAA Spiel. Ich gebe einfach mein Bestes und hoffe, dass Du und ein Paar Römerfans viele Stunden Spass damit haben werden.

Maan.. this looks fire. As an italian, i can't wait finally for an accurate and funny, as well interesting game about Rome! Will the game have achievments, sandbox mode, AND ESPECIALLY!!!! *pls i beg you my dear friend pleaaseee* MOD SUPPORT!!
Is the crowd in the arena stands made up of the simulated population, or are they purely there for show? It's long been a peeve of mine that a lot of city-builders show non-existent people using buildings, so to speak.
they are just animations. Unfortunately, I can't program them myself so that they all have a life of their own. I make the game alone in my free time and am not a programmer. So I can't do it. Sorry
@@PaxAugustaGame It does not look like something from 1997, I remember how games looked back then. People would haven gotten completly crazy about something like this back then. But it has the spirit of these times. Great job, I hope it does not stay in development forever.
This game certainly shows the hard work and thought put into it.
thanks man!!! :) such a lovely comment :)
I wish I had a house of my own somewhere in that city.
me too. I want to live there :)
So excited for this game
Thanks man. I really hope you will like the final result.
Finally pledged my support and bought a shirt too 👍🏿💪🏿
Thank you very much Lorenzo!!! You are amazing. Thank you for your amazing support since a very long time!!!

first thought in mind looks a lot like Grand Ages Rome
that's great. I loved thoase games so much. So I tried to make my own sequel. I just miss those good old games :)
incredible work !!
Thank you :) :) :)
looks mint!
thank you :)

I never played DnD or Tabletop games. I actually don't have any clue how that works. But I hope I can learn that after the release :)
Finally a spiritual successor to Grand Ages: Rome
thanks :) I hope it makes as much fun as the good old GAE! It was an amazing game :)
0:20 that looks really nice 😊. So can we really start Gladiator-Battles and watch them in that close Cinematic View Mode? 🤔

Is there a release date my guy?
I know the release week since about a couple of days. But it's not official. I would say: very soon :)
@PaxAugustaGame AWESOME! I gotcha wishlisted on steam
@@cobypeterson3505 thank you :)
Looks like something from 1997
yea...that's the intention :) It should bring back the feelings of the game I played as a child.
