As a life long learner, and a person who is always asking 'Why', I have become detached from seeking social approval and being judged by those around me, I really do not care what anyone thinks about me, I am what I am and I say how I feel. This liberation really gives one freedom in life, to live and critically think, like a child does. Incidentally I am a professional Kindergarten and primary school teacher, and believe me there is such a difference in children's inquiry at kindergarten level as opposed to P4, 5 and 6 (10, 11, 12 yr olds). This wonderful trait seems to become restrained from about 10 years old and occurs due to social conditioning of the perceived need to be liked and accepted by our peers. This is such a shame. I try to teach my students independent thinking, and just being oneself, and trusting ones instincts.

This made me cry, I never cry. This is the truth that eludes almost everyone. The more selfless I have become the more I have been given responsibility and the more I have evolved. I have come to a point in time where I need to become enlightened and I cannot postpone it anymore.

That's not the kind of selflessness this guy is talking about. Essentially, he is saying there is no such thing as a soul or spirit. He is not your friend.

First premise is a red herring, the whole is neither hostile or friendly, it is whatever you interpret subjectively by your own experience. What about people who don't view this place as hostile or friendly? What if it just is? Look at the diversity of people, both friendly and hostile and every where between. And we just are.
This was made 3 years ago. Imagine that.
And yet, how much more do we know now that we did not know then? What precisely is logic? That which we conclude to be right? What if that which we conclude is right is actually inevitably wrong? If everything is energy, then is it possible that there are varying energy levels of weights and measures where manifested things can exist that we have no perception of seeing, feeling, hearing, or communicating with? If one was to open their perception to allow information from other energy levels, whether high or low, then can we not manifest that which others cannot see, hear, feel, touch or communicate with yet experience in some form or another? If one can see, feel, hear, or communicate with but another cannot, then would it be illogical for the existence of that matter? What if two can see? What if the two that saw was interspecies to each other such as cat and human? What if one human could see, feel, touch, another could only feel, but the cat could see and feel but yet, not touch? Where would logic come and play in that role?
But all, those knowledge were shared here was well-known since 20 years. Certainly it is a deep, interdisciplinar and most well organised video of course.

Like how do we operate correctly if language is at the core of how we think but we're unconscious of how it works. When we repeat a word over and over it becomes meaningless. Asking 'why do I ask why' is the same, to see the true meaning of our awareness. There is no why but we've still got to ask to find out

You're missing the system of motivation in the mind where the brain is "wired" to avoid both physical and psychological types of pain, or what is called on a lower level a negative sensation experienced in the mind. That greater negative sensation motivates the individual to a solution or positive sensation in the mind and manifests itself here in our reality. This system has always been there demonstrating this pattern and has shaped all things in the human and the very matrix in which we live. The book called The System of motivation Understanding by Reinhardt.

This is a beautiful production and I appreciate the intelligence and heart of its writers and producers. It's deeply thoughtful and heartfelt and of course, logical.
For me though, it's still missing something. And that is a fuller consideration of the quantum mind or what I call the quantum self.
While this video story seems to point out the strength of going beyond selfishness and to see the value of everyone within reality, it seems to be missing the the source intelligence behind it all. Perhaps the writers would call it logic. I don't disagree with that but it is so much more.
I do personally know and have had extremely powerful journeys into inner awareness way beyond what is common. I've done this in the dreaming world, in paranormal experiences and with an inner journey to become the ONE MIND of all that is. That one mind experience i called my "Journey to Source" event. It was predicted for decades and was assisted by a deep surrender into the use powerful one time use of DMT to assist my inner realm travels. In this journey, my "self" was indeed destroyed and messed with over and over again until there was virtually nothing left of the former "me" save for what I later called my "homeopathic self."
What I became aware of behind the story of the story of the story of me was the one, true version of me. The universe itself and more. It's a really long story short but there is the ONENESS self of all creation that is meshed within the "self" that human beings know. It's the one thing that can never be lost. The human self is simply a transient expression of the ONE MIND of god. The quantum you within that exists within the quantum information field is everywhere.
So I would express many of this videos ideas in virtually the same way accept for the impetus behind it when it comes to what the core self could be; even though there is no core self in certain regards. We do not come from the stars. The stars come from us. The form of universe and all that is physical is emergent from consciousness. Consciousness is not magically emergent from form. If the self is not real, then the outer reality is not real. If the quantum realm is waves of potential influenced by thought, then the thought is what the particle form emerges from. Reality bends to belief. There is no one REAL world or universe out there, Rather, there are endless realities that are little more than the dreaming of a consciousness packet having the dream. When that packet of awareness expands itself into its ONENESS form, it is everywhere and no where. It is everyone and no one. It know everything and yet nothing. It is beyond space and time. It is the story beyond the story and beyond that one.
What we are most addicted to is the idea of reality being "out there" that science can study and prove. The very first assumption of science from the beginning was the incorrect assumption. It's never really been tested. Only now is there some wavering in previously held ideals.
All that said, this video comes to many of the same conclusion that I did on my own in my highly divergent inner quest for the highest coherence that I can imagine about the nature of consciousness and awareness. I've talked with god. I've been god. My life has predicted over and over from 2 days in advance to 4 decades in advance. I know what creation and humanity is doing here. And I hardly have anyone to tell by myself. It is a lonely affair. I've already been through the awakening stage of "the good of the collective" and seeing beyond the self. Now, I'm seeing beyond the illusory nature of reality itself.

Consciousness is not just extreme pleasure. Consciousness is the realization of immortality and the realization that everything is heaven. When you realize that, it's so good, it's infinitely good. It's not just good. It's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it. your body can't hold it. Your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. It's perfection. It's total peace. It's absolute love, that's truly consciousness.

Problem in observation comes from the fact that method used to have observation were intrusive and not passive in their nature.
For example, if you are using electron microscope you are beaming energy pulses to collide with object and than we measure what reflected toward sensors.

Nice graphics but I’m skeptical about the consciousness part. Doesn’t explain a lot of things. I don’t have the answer but I don’t believe this guy has it all figured out.
The program is quite hypnotic and pleasant. However, your position about not having an answer is exactly where science is at this time. The rest is speculation.

@@russhook6595 It sounds like you are taking the position of Descartes with mind body dualism. The material body is separate from the mind or consciousness. Science operates only on the material. I don't disagree with you. Many scientists believe that only materialism is true, hence the brain will eventually explain everything about consciousness. Other thinkers are not so sure and believe the study of consciousness will put an end to exclusive materialism in science. I think we are light years from answering these questions, but I hope I am wrong.
No one has anything close to figured out and if they say otherwise, walk away.

one of the best doc I've watched on consciousness from a more scientific standpoint. Whilst it does still hinge on the idea that consciousness is in the brain, it also doesn't. Worth a watch even if you are watching from a non-dual standpoint or similar

I have the choice to consider whether or not it will rain tomorrow and speculate "Maybe, maybe not" all day, but until that time actually comes to pass, I will not know, so I let the outcomes tell me rather than a coin flip hahaha. It may or may not be is literally empty time being consumed attempting to know what can't be known, the fact that you responded is important, since you made a decision. I just want to leave this here because I believe it to be very helpful. Throughout my home, special emphasis on my bedroom, I have taped up positive messages that I have collected from tea over time, as well as ones I have written myself. "I am capable" "I am important" "I align with positive energy" etc(wouldn't it be cool for a company to sell positive unconscious rewire stickers :)), so much more... this is so that, even without me realizing it, my unconscious is absorbing it. Months ago I also started listening to philosophical audiotapes(with a complete open mind) with headphones on, instead of watching youtube or anything. I listened to one particular affirmation video countless times, even low volume in background during daily tasks. I meditated on a strict routine everynight(my meditating now is different). I keep Experiencing multiple sychronicities. I could go on and on. I have become much more present, patient and aware of my thoughts. I find the messages pop in my head and I smile. I can discipline my thoughts more so than not, and the goal is to remain them positive. I could go on and on about this. My head is so clear, and I have been enjoying learning things about myself for instance, im very interested in physics, mostly quantum... and basically our universe in general. You truly get to a point where you realize you know nothing, and start questioning everything and doing your own research.

Why are we even so cocky as a species to think we even have an ultimate purpose on this planet to begin with?? There is no necessity to even have a reason to exist on this planet, or in totality. Some things just happen without reason. Or the reason could be completely physical in nature and irrelevant overall, for that matter.

In essence consciousness cannot be measured or observed simply due to the fact that each and every one of us observes reality differently. This is the reason why we will never solve the mystery behind consciousness. Until consciousness can be proven to be an observable and measurable phenomenon through objective analysis, we will never be able to prove ones own existence. For how can you prove to me that you are alive if your existence can only be observed through my eyes?
All there is, is consciousness. All this effort and you missed the most fundamental truth of all. Energy is consciousness at a lower frequency of vibration and matter is energy at an even lower rate of vibration. There is only ONE CONSCIOUSNESS divided many times and the universe (or more accurately multi-verse) is a holographic playground for this ONE consciousness to explore.

Generally good, but it's not a "childish" habit of seeking reward from others, it's a "childhood" habit, part inevitable (before individuation), but mostly reinforced by imposed social hierarchies. Approval of others as a reward is not inherently evil, but only when it is deliberately made to oppose - or endlessly protract - our process of individuation, and impairs our ongoing evaluation of self and environment. (As Sagan observed )
I would also add that 'approval of others' is the very thing driving the end message of this video. People seek to be kind to others because that earns them their approval. It's still teaching a rewards based system. You can never escape ideology. The very moment you think you're analyzing it is the time you're most inside of it. 'Be kind to others' is just another form of emotional ideology, it's not logic. The facts are that we have survival impulses. One of those is to be selfish (to acquire resources, survive long enough to reproduce), the other is to be selfless (cooperation is a survival mechanism too, especially for a social species like ours). Logic is that in order to ensure the survival of our species (and our own genes), we need to take action to keep our planet habitable (which satisfies both selfish and selfless impulses). Logic flows with or without human intervention (either we save the planet and we survive, or we don't and we die, the rest of the universe will (most likely) still be there. For the record I do think being kind to others is the right course but I do not believe it is the 'true' course. I did really enjoy watching this video though (at 1.25 speed) even though I don't agree with everything.
