Creating Depth and Dimension in Oil Painting with Color Harmony

Welcome back to another live class lecture in which I introduce the principles of Hensche Color Studies and show you how to apply them to your own paintings during a live class.
Hensche Color Studies were developed by Henry Hensche, an American painter who studied under Charles W. Hawthorne. These studies involve using a limited subject matter, such as painted blocks, to explore the harmonization of color relationships and the concept of half-tone in color.
In this lecture, I build upon the first two classes to establish strong foundations in color harmony and mixing the right colors in oil paint. I will continue to share the lectures from these in person classes, and I look forward to making more content to teach you the principles and elements of art making.
